Seeing many women around me undergo loit of changes after child birth, I have always fantasize a different picture of myself being different and free from all those changes, but then reality came knocking on my door one day and I couldn't help it.
How elegant and beautiful I do look on my high waist skirt and trousers because of my flat tummy, I usually watch what I eat, and do lots of exercise ranging from sit-up, planking and press up just to maintain and keep fit.
Looking at this picture brings back memories of my flat tummy.
Pregnancy really humbled me, I changed from what I used to be to what my body needs to be for the little one growing inside of me.
I noticed a lot of changes from my skin colour, rashes and even stretch marks.
One time during my regular visit to the hospital, my doctor said I had added a lot of weight and so I need to watch it.
Before then my weight was around 50kg but it increased down to about 86kg during pregnancy.
I was so worried that I had to cut down on a lot of food and beverages.
After delivery I dropped few pounds.
As it stands I can't change or correct most of the added package that having baby has added to my body so I just manage them.
The fact that I am still breastfeeding my baby and the idea that anything I take will affect my baby has contributed to my reasons of not trying some natural fat burner.
It took nine months to gain weight and so I really can't burn them all in just one week I am still giving my self time to heal better from the complications I had during delivery.
I can't really cut down on my food intake
because I am also breastfeeding a baby, but I eat bit by bit and not too much that my body can't carry. I also take lots of water, fruits, and exercise sometimes not consistently.
My 3months postpartum
On an excursion recently.
I still love and appreciate my body with or without the weight. Loving myself and staying positive has been my most dependable form of coping. I love my motherhood body.
