Jansen boy did his second lungs test recently via breathing into spirometer, for his doctor to gauge how well his lungs performed. This time, it was successfully, at least good enough to have something to measure. Previously, his lungs were weaker and no matter how many times he tried, still he did not pass the 'benchmark'. He remembered we once read an Usborne book of Science on lungs. I found this photo in my gallery, and well, let's pen it down.
My addiction for study materials
How should I say? Sometimes, I am not sure whether I bought books for the boys or I bought for self. There was this sense of satisfaction when I collected pile of books and to see them properly arranged on shelf. That was the reason I became a librarian during my primary and secondary school life. Such satisfaction. Walking into library.... A sense of comfort. I love all sort of book; textbooks, workbooks, puzzle books, IQ books, story books, comic, magazines, etc. Asked my mum, I thank God for a mum who was willing to buy books again and again and again for me. So, I bought these book for Jansen, Usborne and National Geographic. I bought some other books too, in other languages. I shall focus more on Usborne books.
Usborne books
These are flip-flop books, and I find it interesting and more user-friendly for children who don't really love books. Story books do not work well with Jansen. He loves especially the one on 'Look Inside Your Body.'
He also loves 'Looks inside the space.'
I myself love the one on 'Look inside Our World'.

National Geographic Kids Series
This series I bought for both my eldest son, youngest son and myself. So satisfied to see them arranged there. I love National Geographic since young. Not forgetting the Mr. Men series because I love their plush toys. Haha.
Addicted to Flash Cards.
I love flash cards too. Maybe because I used them a lot when I was young, mu tuition teacher used flash cards a lot to teach us. So was my mum. I tried to just buy a few and I succeeded. Just bought these ya. Was very excited when received them in the box.
Now that the shelves are full, with their books and mine, my husband told me to stop buying first and tries to finish those I had bought. Haha. I bought other series too, in Malay language and Chinese language. I think buying books or study materials is never a wastage (aside from the paper usage), I think it is an investment. However, I am ready if the world needs to heal from cutting down more trees for paper production, and we adopt e-books more. I am ready.
