Hace ya un tiempo que con papá veníamos fomentando algunas actividades ligadas al arte, más bien a la música, Rocío la mayor si encajo con el teclado y ya por oído logra sacar melodías infantiles aunque es un buen ejercicio para piezas difíciles en un futuro si es que así ella lo decida.
For some time now, we have been encouraging with daddy some activities related to art, or rather to music. Rocío, the eldest, has been able to play the keyboard and by ear she is already able to play children's melodies, although it is a good exercise for difficult pieces in the future if she decides to do so.
Pero con mi hija menor no fue así, ella toma el teclado pero más que presionar las teclas o pedir que la hermana intérprete la canción que ella quiere no hace más, decidimos dejarla buscar lo que ella quería y así fue sola descubrió su pasatiempo.
But with my youngest daughter it was not like that, she takes the keyboard but more than pressing the keys or asking her sister to play the song she wants, she does nothing else, we decided to let her look for what she wanted and so she discovered her hobby on her own.
Mi Julieta cumplió los cinco años ahora el recién julio pasado y anterior a eso fue que empezó con su frase diaria mamá dame hojas, tenía que buscar hojas blancas o de cuaderno, pero no del qué usa para sus estudios, este año empezamos homeschooling con ella y está en etapa preescolar, empecé a darle hojas y lápices y así fue como su amor por el dibujo nació.
My Julieta turned five years old last July and before that she started with her daily phrase mommy give me sheets, she had to look for white or notebook sheets, but not the one she uses for her studies, this year we started homeschooling with her and she is in preschool, I started to give her sheets and pencils and that's how her love for drawing was born.
Tal cual un artista ella tiene sus momentos de inspiración y es allí donde pide sus cosas, se concentra y dibuja, a veces no es lo que ella quería y vuelve a empezar, cada día pone más concentración y con orgullo vemos cómo mejoran sus trazos y forma de colorear.
Just like an artist she has her moments of inspiration and it is there where she asks for her things, she concentrates and draws, sometimes it is not what she wanted and she starts again, every day she puts more concentration and with pride we see how her strokes and way of coloring improve.
Impulsamos su pasatiempo festejando cada dibujo realizado, suele pedir que los guardemos en una carpeta, pero hay otras ocasiones en que los recorta para jugar, es como si creará sus propósitos muñecos.
We encourage his hobby by celebrating each drawing he makes, he usually asks us to keep them in a folder, but there are other times when he cuts them out to play, it is as if he were creating his own dolls.
Gracias a esto vemos con agrado que su imaginación es una fuente inagotable, además de crear sus dibujos crea sus muñecas, toma unas cuantas telas, trozos de lana o lo que encuentre, crea la cabeza, el cuerpo y articulaciones, su última creación se llama muñeca misteriosa y duerme con ella, la cuida para que no pierda su cabeza y da ternura verla hacerlo, a decir verdad nunca vi una niña así, es muy creativa y eso es algo que admiro en su persona.

Julieta es una pequeña Picasso en potencia, quizás de adulta se dedique a esto o solo sea un hobby, sea cual sea la futura respuesta la apoyaré, es una niña con talento y merece ser estimulada.
Julieta is a little Picasso in potential, maybe as an adult she will dedicate herself to this or it will just be a hobby, whatever the future answer is I will support her, she is a talented girl and deserves to be stimulated.
Los niños en su temprana etapa adquieren un sin fin de habilidades y es deber de nosotros los padres estimularlos, alentarlos y apoyarlos siempre.
Children in their early stages acquire endless skills and it is the duty of us parents to stimulate, encourage and support them at all times.
En casa tenemos dos artistas, una enfocada a la música y la otra al dibujo, papá es música y mamá ama escribir, quizás esto está en la sangre, no se si es así pero me gusta pensarlo.
At home we have two artists, one focused on music and the other on drawing, dad is a musician and mom loves to write, maybe this is in the blood, I don't know if it is so but I like to think so.
