Many April predictions came true, little girl.
There is air conditioning in your room. You drink from a big bottle every now and then. During nighttime, we put you in size 3 diapers. And you have learned how to do regular daytime naps! They’re not your favourite but you’re getting about three per day.
When you turn six months old soon, we may change it to two naps per day. Which means more awake time to play, hooray!
You’re making “muh-mumum” sounds now, especially when you need comfort (or food)—it sure sounds a lot like “mommy” to us. Your other sounds are also getting much more complex and interesting. We think you’ll be saying full words any day now :)
Progress towards crawling is going well too. You can push yourself up on both arms, wiggle around, and roll. You haven’t fully figured out how to get around on your own but that day is also not far away. Time to baby proof the place!
Big girl foods you’ve tried now include baby cereal, banana, and avocado. Soon we will try carrots and sweet potato.
Oh, and I have a great recording of some giggles we shared.
Love,
Dad
