Mothers are excited during academic break. I, myself is full of excitement since we will be spending more time and enjoy every moment while at home.
Off course, one reason is that our busget will be lessen since, no more giving of allowances every day. My two daughter allowance is two hundred pesos every day or one thousand a week. that is good for fare, load, snacks and for their piggy bank.
What they done for the first week of the academic break, they clean up our back yard, their room and the whole house. They washed their clothes and separate all clothes they are not using and packed up to give to their younger cousins.
Well, during vacation, I teach them cook food since, what they only know to cook is rice, egg, hotdog, noodles so its time to teach them cook dishes. Anyway, the first dish they learned is cook chicken adobo that their father teach to them.
While cooking, we talk about their experiences at school and I let them share their realizations. My first born shared that she really had the hard time reaching her goal and I keep telling her that I am so proud of what she achieved since she graduated junior high school being with honors and special award: commendable leadership award, outstanding performance in english, outstanding performance in dress making,outstanding performance in aralin panlipunan,and outsdanding performance in arts. Her younger sister also nailed being with honors also. It is a great gift for us parents since its a great gift and pays off all oir sacrifices.
I thank God that even we are struggling in material thing, we instill to them how to value and be contented for what we can provide but we keep encouraging them that pursue their dreams, to finish their education.
Hoping that they keep in their mind, soul and heart all the things we try to instill to them and be their inspiration to be focused, intentional and generous in investing their time, effort and energy in everything they do.
