Saludos queridos amigos de @motherhood, espero se encuentren bien, llenos de salud y felicidad, hace ya muchos días que no publico nada pues he estado full con mi trabajo y las actividades escolares de Jeremías, yo realmente pensé que el kinder era solo pintar y jugar, pero no, las maestras de Jeremías son muy aplicadas e ingeniosas a la hora de enseñar.
Quiero compartir con ustedes lo que fué el cierre de proyecto escolar. Esta semana las maestras planificaron muchas actividades hermosas con los niños de 1er nivel de preescolar, y como tenemos un grupo de WhatsApp para padres por allí pasaron las fotos de los niños en sus actividades.
Quiero empezar contándoles como comenzó la semana, el día lunes fue el día mundial del Síndrome de Down, y las maestras nos pidieron que lleváramos un par de globos amarillo y azul, realizaron una cartelera muy bonita con las huellas de las manos de los niños, aquí las fotos.
Greetings dear friends of @motherhood, I hope you are well, full of health and happiness, it has been many days since I posted anything because I have been full with my work and Jeremías' school activities, I really thought that kindergarten was just painting and playing, but no, Jeremías' teachers are very dedicated and ingenious when it comes to teaching. I want to share with you what was the closing of the school project. This week the teachers planned many beautiful activities with the children of the 1st level of preschool, and as we have a WhatsApp group for parents they passed the photos of the children in their activities. I want to start by telling you how the week began, Monday was the World Down Syndrome Day, and the teachers asked us to bring a couple of yellow and blue balloons, they made a very nice poster with the handprints of the children, here are the pictures.

El día martes se lo dedicaron a la concientización del cuidado del agua, llevó un banderín con un mensaje referente al mismo. Con los banderines decoraron el salón de clases. Quedó muy bonito, lamentablemente la única foto que tengo es de Jeremías en la casa mostrando como quedó su trabajo.
Group photos were taken, but obviously because of the privacy of the other children I cannot publish them. Tuesday was dedicated to water awareness, and they took a banner with a message about water. They decorated the classroom with the banners. It was very nice, unfortunately the only picture I have is of Jeremias at home showing how his work turned out.
Abro paréntesis para contarles que Jeremías está en tareas dirigidas, su maestra me cuenta que mi niño se concentra muy bien en realizar su trabajo de manera correcta, sigue las instrucciones, colorea casi sin salirse de los límites del dibujo y se distrae muy poco, es decir solo cuando está cansado de pintar.
I open parenthesis to tell you that Jeremías is in homework, his teacher tells me that my child concentrates very well in doing his work correctly, follows the instructions, colors almost without going out of the limits of the drawing and is very little distracted, that is to say only when he is tired of painting.
El día miércoles tuvieron una exposición sobre los opuestos, a Jeremías le tocó Alto-Bajo, con su maestra de tareas dirigidas pintó una jirafa y un conejo, y un árbol y una flor. Yo le hice unos distintivos para colgarlos en su franela. Durante muchos días practicó lo que iba a decir, y cuando llegó su turno lo hizo muy bien. Tengo un vídeo que lo publicaré en un par de días. On Wednesday they had an exhibition about opposites, Jeremiah had to do High-Low, with his homework teacher he painted a giraffe and a rabbit, and a tree and a flower. I made him some badges to hang on his flannel. For many days he practiced what he was going to say, and when it was his turn he did very well. I have a video that I will post in a couple of days. El día jueves debían recitar una poesía sobre el agua, esto sí por más que intentamos no se la aprendió, la poesía la mezclaba con un cuento sobre spiderman rescatando a la gotita de agua, o algo así... De este día solo tengo la imagen de la poesía y el dibujo que coloreó, y bueno una foto de regreso a casa contándome como spiderman rescataba a la gotita de agua, ja, ja, ja. La maestra me cuenta que fue muy divertido el cuento de Jeremías.
On Thursday they had to recite a poem about water, but no matter how hard we tried he didn't learn it, the poem was mixed with a story about spiderman rescuing the little drop of water, or something like that? From this day I only have the picture of the poetry and the drawing he colored, and a picture of him back home telling me how spiderman rescued the little drop of water, ha, ha, ha, ha. The teacher tells me that Jeremiah's story was a lot of fun.
El viernes cerraron con broche de oro, tuvieron una pijamada, si jejeje una pijamada de día y en el colegio, los niños fueron en pijamas, llevaron cotufas, jugos, galletas, sandwichitos, y yo les llevé una torta Marmoleada de chocolate (mi especialidad). Vieron una película y jugaron mucho. Aquí les muestro una foto, le tape la cara a dos nenes que salen en la foto porque fue difícil tomarle una foto a Jeremías el solito.
On Friday they closed with a flourish, they had a sleepover, yes hehehe a daytime sleepover and at school, the kids went in their pajamas, they brought snacks, juices, cookies, sandwiches, and I brought them a chocolate Marmoleada cake (my specialty). They watched a movie and played a lot. Here is a picture, I covered the faces of two of the kids in the picture because it was difficult to take a picture of Jeremias by himself.
Al salir del colegio lo retiró su papá, así que pude hablar muy poco con Jeremías porque los fines de semana los pasa en casa de su papá, pero me contó que se divirtió mucho... Ya me toca esperar hasta el domingo para que me cuente más.
When he got out of school his dad picked him up, so I could talk to Jeremias very little because he spends the weekends at his dad's house, but he told me that he had a lot of fun.... Now I have to wait until Sunday to hear more from him.
Solo me queda decir que estoy muy agradecida con las maestras que tiene mi hijo, son excelentes, ingeniosas, cariñosas, dedicadas. No me arrepiento de haber inscrito a mi hijo en ese colegio, definitivamente era lo que necesitaba. Jeremías ha dejado de ser tan introvertido y miedoso, ya tiene más confianza en si mismo, se comunica mucho mejor, recuerda los nombres de sus compañeros y me cuenta a qué jugaron, de hecho en los días de vacaciones me pidió que lo llevara a su colegio porque extrañaba a sus amigos.
Y pues qué decir de su maestra de tareas dirigidas, es la mejor del mundo mundial, le da atención personalizada, le tiene mucha paciencia y le enseña muchas cosas.
I can only say that I am very grateful to the teachers my son has, they are excellent, witty, caring, dedicated. I don't regret enrolling my son in that school, it was definitely what he needed. Jeremias has stopped being so introverted and fearful, he is more self-confident, he communicates much better, he remembers the names of his classmates and tells me what they played, in fact on vacation days he asked me to take him to his school because he missed his friends. And what can I say about his homework teacher, she is the best in the world, she gives him personalized attention, is very patient and teaches him many things.
