Hi Motherhood Community 💫 I never thought that something as simple as seeing a little arm moving could generate so much happiness 💖 because finally my princess Lucia's cast was removed and we are happy and free!!!! 🥳 This whole experience has been a carousel of emotions but thank God Lucia is already better from her fracture and today I share with you this experience!
This Tuesday was Lucia's 4th check up with the traumatologist since the day of the fracture, we have had some very tense moments but always hopeful that my baby was going to recover satisfactorily. We went super early to the clinic and we arrived at the same time as the doctor so she attended us immediately, we went in and she removed the immobilizer from Lucia, she asked her a series of questions regarding if she felt pain and also made several movements to her arm, she was nervous but behaved excellent and listened to the doctor at all times. After the examination we were sent to do a new x-ray, this is the third x-ray in a month, so Lucia is no longer afraid of the process and is very calm when the study is done.
The radiologist already knew us, so as soon as he got the image he told us with a smile that the fracture looked much better this time, the bone that should adhere to the bone was forming, so the progress was very good compared to the last x-ray. We took the plate immediately to the traumatologist and she was also very happy, she told us that the immobilizer was no longer necessary and although we must continue with 1 month without strong physical activity and some vitamin supplements, Lucia was already FREE of the cast on her arm and above all very happy! We left the consultation very happy and went straight to celebrate with a little dessert that our baby is getting better thanks to God!
We are very grateful to the doctor who was incredible with us throughout this process, we must see her again in 1 month with a new plate to verify that the fracture is completely healed. I feel happy and grateful to God because in spite of this traumatic experience my daughter is better, she can return to her activities progressively and it fills me with joy to see her happy and recovered.
Thank God we have overcome this chapter of Lucia's fracture and we are free of Yesoooo! Sincerely we are happy and as always it was a pleasure to share our experiences with you! 💞 Thank you for reading me! 😃 See you very soon! 💫
