Fun in sick days - Easter eddition

in #hive-1657572 years ago

Hello, everyone probably has a hard time like I did when my child was sick and couldn't attend kindergarten and nursery.

At such times we parents become the clowns, the healers, the people to help and comfort the child when he is not feeling well, the beast tamers as well as many other fabulous creatures.

Today it happened that my son woke up sick. Coughing, sneezing I wasn't sure exactly what to do and called the nursery to ask if it made sense to take him there at all. After consulting with the nurse we came to the conclusion that it would be better for the child to stay home for a few days, after all it is Friday so Saturday, Sunday and possibly Monday Tuesday to go back there to continue his education. During this convalescent period my son will have the opportunity to consolidate his health, to warm up not to go outside because after all taking him and bringing him home means he goes outside the wind blows him because where we live there is a constant wind not clear from which direction.

In order for things to work out well so that I can work because I work at home and he can still have fun somehow and learn something new I decided to create a little "job" for him. With the help of an image processing app and free ones free to use in commercial non-commercial purposes I created a few templates for us to have fun with. Next week is Easter at our house so I decided the theme of these color games would be related to the holiday.

I found several images of chickens, chickens, roosters as well as Easter eggs. I created them as the sheet size to be A4 but when printed I printed them to be two images per page. They will be cropped to be a half sheet of A4.

Probably other parents like me suffer at times when their children are ill so I thought I would make it easier for them in some way by providing these files for free download and use. I hope to help more parents get through those tough days, moments for everyone when their children are coughing, sneezing, spraying germs and snot everywhere.

In order for things to work out well for us I have already given the little one cough syrup as well as extra vitamin D so he can deal with the virus or bacilli infection he has right now.

Hmm, I got to thinking. Last night we were explaining to the little one how we were going to the hairdresser after nursery, that his hair had gotten long and was in the way. It's also possible that this is a little protest of his - you know!

If you're interested in them, please leave a comment and I'll upload them as a PDF so they're easier to download and print!

Times are different now from when my children were young and sick. My daughter had constant ear infections causing high fevers. My son on the other hand missed no time at school. At least up to 2020. Now I homeschool. We focus on the math reading and writing plus subjects he is interested in.

Oh my dear, it is always hard when you see your kid to struggle with anything. I know that they are strong enough to handle such sickness but it needs time
