GIVING MY LITTLE PRINCESS A GOOD LIFE

in #hive-1657573 years ago

Good day everyone and happy month ending.
As February is coming to an end, alot of us are making new plans for the new month while others are working towards theirs.
Am always a hard working fellow who felt that what am already doing is enough to take care of my family, hmm.
Not until my little Princess arrived,I've always prayed to God to help me stay in good health so as to be able to work for my family.
A man who cannot take care of his family is worse than an infidel,so says the Holy Bible.

Here in Africa, Nigeria to be be precise,we hardly get promoted in our place of work,be it private or public sector.
It's in this same country that cost of living increases every week, yet your salary scale remains the same.
We've been built tough by our condition of living, over here we took the saying of late Afro music icon Baba Fela,he calls or describes our country as SUFFERING AND SMILING,this simply means that as a Nigerian,no matter how tough the situation might seem, we will survive while we smile about our normal duties.

Ever wondered why some of our sincere, hardworking Nigerians when they go abroad, they tend to excel in everything they do because Nigeria has toughened them up to the point of adaptability.
We're unique,we stand out in every sphere of life were we find ourselves,we are versatile, strong, dogged, creative thinkers and innovative builders,we are Nigerians.
Back to my experience,I work with an oil and gas firm,I double as an Operations manager and safety supervisor.

In my line of job,I visit the rig alot of times, where I handle waste management inspection in different states were rig operations are going on.

Alot of times I discuss with my wife the office routine, but I try to avoid talking about the risky part of my job in order not to get her worried each time I travel, but in all, this is a job that put food on our table.
That being said, whenever I think about my little Princess,I get really energized to do more because I want to give her the things I wasn't privileged to.
In my line of job,I climb high tanks, badges, enter the creeks to inspect the sight and also make sure it's a safe environment to work in.
Alot of times too our job is altered by the host community when they make outrageous demands for money and slot to allow indigenes work.
Most times this leads to the kidnap of some of us,but in all these risks,am focused on making my little Princess comfortable.
Now I know that there's no limit to what you can do for your loved ones, nothing is too big or small just to put a smile on their faces.
When I come back home, the stress of the day automatically leaves me,just seeing my little Princess and my lovely wife,I feel fulfilled and blessed having them in my life.
But when am in the field of work,I make sure I wear my safety gadgets to stay safe and as well return home safe and sound to my family.

Providing for my family is always priority to me,it makes me go the extra mile keep the home happy.
When I come back home,I go straight to the toilet to wash my hands properly before touching my delicate little Princess, she's so cute and always happy to see me back because it's only daddy who carry's her and dances with her until she falls asleep in my arms.
While at it,she looks straight into my eyes to connect with me on how much she missed me in the course of the day.
This act melts my heart like butter in a fry pan.
I give time to play with her, change her diaper and dance her to sleep,so it's a routine for my daughter and I and she's always expectant each time she sees me or hears my voice.

With this connection, tell me, which father would not want to do his best to keep his daughter or son the best of moments together.
