Visita al Museo del Mar con César Gabriel

César estaba muy emocionado de ir, contaba los días y preguntaba a su abuelo si tenía efectivo para pagar la entrada, la verdad es bastante económico, por mi parte si subieran un poco el valor de la entrada pudieran resolver ciertos detalles que tiene, pero como es de la Universidad de Oriente, no creo que se pueda.
En el museo del mar de nuestra ciudad, tiene muchos años existiendo, primero estuvo en la universidad, en el edificio del océano grafico, el cual se encargaba de estudiar nuestro golfo, estudiar los peces y todo lo referente al mar. Aún lo hace pero ya el edificio no funciona porque fue dañado por personas dañinas.

Luego de unos años estuvo en un sitio cerca del mar, el cual en una época fue el antiguo aeropuerto de la ciudad, ahí estuvo muchos años, cuando niña asistí en varias oportunidades pero en el año 1997, hubo un terremoto que tumbó la estructura de la edificación donde estaba el museo.
Tuvieron que sacar todas pertenencias que tenía el museo y las movieron de sitio, en este momento el museo del mar se encuentra en un edificio de la universidad, el antiguo corporiente, ahí lo han ido cuidando y sacando adelante, por personas que tienen ganas de seguir enseñando lo que es el museo tiene para enseñar.

El delfín que está al lado de César, también sufrió gracias a terremoto y se partió, ahí se esta exhibiendo para que los niños que asistan, se tomen fotos con él. Así como muchas de las atracciones que tiene el museo.
Cuando llegamos César estaba muy emocionado, no dejaba de dar brincos, la ansiedad la manejó muy bien, le gustaba el lugar, nos atendieron muy bien, dijeron que pasaramos y nos uniéramos al grupo que estaba en el recorrido.
Llegamos tarde al recorrido, pero igual César comenzó a hablar y hablar, sobre lo que estaba viendo, el chico que estaba dando el recorrido no lo dejaba hablar mucho porque era su momento de hablar. Cuando le daba la palabra, César comenzaba a comentar todo lo que tenía en su mente, sobre eso que estábamos viendo.

Al principio, entramos y estaban los esqueletos de las ballenas, pero el recorrido lo comenzamos por donde estaban los caracoles y las conchas, ahí estaban explicando los tipos de conchas que habían exhibidas. Hasta cucarachas de mar, y gracias a esas nos mandaron a la playa para verlas, nada de youtube, que vayamos al mar y las veamos.
Teniendo el mar tan cerca, se nos escapan de las manos tantas cosas, la verdad yo no soy de salir y todo es un protocolo, mientras que ves personas que todos los días sale y hacen actividades, la verdad que no me nace. Me toca llevar a César a la playa.
Habías esqueletos de aves, había un área donde enseñan las aves marinas, más peces, el área donde están la fauna del Rio Manzanares, nos hablaron de las especies de los peces en el río manzanares, los peces de agua dulce y salada. Incluso venden peces ahí.

Habían peces modificados, con colores brillantes, hermosos, pero la verdad es que no soy de tener pecera y no me llama la atención tener una, a César si, me ha dicho que quiere un pez, pero la verdad que como sería yo quien se encargara de la pecera, prefiero decirle que no. Por ahora.
En este museo hay un pez extraordinario, es un pez prehistórico, que es el Celacanto, el Celacanto es un pez que encontraron y lo llevaron para estudiarlo donde descubrieron que era prehistórico por sus aletas que parecen patas, dicen que se podía parar, e incluso salir a la superficie, pero eso no era tan verdad porque se ahogaba.
Es el único pez en esas condiciones en el continente americano, por lo cual debemos estar orgullosos de tenerlo entre nosotros. Lo malo es que debería ser una reliquia tan importante para el estado que lo tienen, y no hablo de los cuidadores, hablo de que aquí no le dan la importancia como para llamar al turismo y darle el valor que se merece. Lamentablemente, adoramos más la cultura extranjera que la nuestra.
Cuando entramos justamente a esa zona del Celacanto, César fue corriendo emocionado porque sabía que lo iba a ver, yo jamás le he hablado de ese pez, porque la verdad no me acordaba, en dónde escuchó de él, no sé, pero sabía. Comentó que en Latinoamérica era el único que existía y que valía mucho dinero.
Creo que de todas las atracciones fue lo que más le gustó, lo veía muy emocionado, el Celacanto también sufrió la caída de la infraestructura de donde estaba el museo del mar antes, gracias al terremoto. La casa se rompió y se cayó, él quedó en buen estado. No le pasó nada.
La verdad fue toda una experiencia que vamos a repetir, prometo venir con más información. Vamos a ir con mi sobrina así que será una experiencia más gratificante y familiar.

We were late for the tour, but Cesar started talking and talking anyway, about what he was seeing, the guy who was giving the tour didn't let him talk much because it was his time to talk. At first, we went in and there were the skeletons of the whales, but we began the tour where the snails and shells were, there they were explaining the types of shells that were on display. Having the sea so close, so many things get out of hand, the truth is that I am not one to go out and everything is a protocol, while you see people who go out every day and do activities, the truth is that it is not born to me. It's my turn to take César to the beach.
There were bird skeletons, there was an area where they teach seabirds, more fish, the area where the fauna of the Manzanares River is, they told us about the fish species in the manzanares river, fresh and saltwater fish. They even sell fish there.

There were modified fish, with bright, beautiful colors, but the truth is that I don't like having a fishbowl and I don't mind having one, César yes, he told me he wants a fish, but the truth is that how would I be the one in charge of the fish tank, I prefer to say no. For now.
In this museum there is an extraordinary fish, it is a prehistoric fish, which is the Coelacanth, the Coelacanth is a fish that they found and took it to study it where they discovered that it was prehistoric because of its fins that look like legs, they say it could stand up, and even surface, but that was not so true because he was drowning.
It is the only fish in these conditions in the American continent, for which we should be proud to have it among us. The bad thing is that it should be such an important relic for the state that they have it in, and I'm not talking about the caretakers, I'm talking about the fact that here they don't give it the importance to call tourism and give it the value it deserves. Unfortunately, we adore foreign culture more than our own.
When we entered precisely that area of the Coelacanth, César ran excited because he knew he was going to see it, I have never told him about that fish, because the truth is that I did not remember where he heard about it, I don't know, but I knew. He commented that in Latin America it was the only one that existed and that it was worth a lot of money.
I think that of all the attractions it was what he liked the most, he saw him very excited, the Coelacanth also suffered the collapse of the infrastructure where the museum of the sea was before, thanks to the earthquake. The house broke and fell, he was left in good order. Nothing happened to him.
The truth was an experience that we are going to repeat, I promise to come with more information. We are going with my niece so it will be a more rewarding and familiar experience.
