El día de hoy mi corazón esta rebosante de sano orgullo y contento por ver a mis hijos Jensson y Jairo participar en la cantata navideña, el coro de la iglesia y también por la representación tan bonita realizada el día jueves en la dramatización del nacimiento de Jesús. Deseo contarles como les fue en las actividades, un saludo afectuosos a todos.
En el post anterior comentaba sobre mis esfuerzos cuando mis hijos eran niños de enseñarle la historia de navidad, del nacimiento de Jesús, con un significado para sus vidas y como ellos se animaban a interpretar los personajes de la misma en la escuela y la iglesia. Pues ahora en su juventud, Jairo tiene 17 años y Jensson 20 años, aún se complacen en hacerlo y eso me gusta mucho. Pero nunca habían participado cantando y este año se animaron a participar de la cantata navideña cantando villancicos, "Venid pastorcillos", "Din, Don", y muchos otros conocidos. Me agrada verlos practicando, ensayando y ahora con la puesta en escena. Sus ensayos dieron muy buenos frutos, la audiencia emitió muy buenos comentarios y me sentí muy feliz por mis chicos y por los demás jóvenes que se esforzaron en dar lo mejor de si para llevar un mensaje de amor y fe en estos tiempos tan duros.
La presentación fue en 2 días, el jueves y hoy. El jueves se presentaron en la iglesia, dramatización, cantos y luego fue la cena navideña. Mis hijos estuvieron muy bien y luego la pasaron muy agradable con todos en el compartir, hallacas, ensalada, panes, dulce de lechoza,torta y jugos, todo muy rico. Mi hijo Jairo interpretó al ángel que anuncio el nacimiento de Jesús a Maria, a José y a los pastores. Mi hijo Jensson era Isaias que profetizó el nacimiento de Jesús años antes.
El día de hoy sábado, cantaron los cantos navideños nuevamente, primero en la mañana en la iglesia y luego a la 6:00 pm en la plaza Miranda de acá de Carúpano, los cantos sonaban hermosos y la gente se detenía a escucharlos. Fue un hermoso día, luego de la actividad nos fuimos a la avenida a mirar las luces y nos tomamos algunas fotos que cuando me las pasen compartiré. Caminamos por la avenida mis hijos, 2 de sus amigos, mi hermana, mi sobrino y yo. Todo estaba muy bonito y decorado, finalmente regresamos a casa, cansados, pero contentos.
A los 17 o 20 años que son las edades de mis hijos algunos chicos gustan de los excesos en fiestas, discotecas y actividades que dejan cansancio físico y mental que afectan su salud, además del menoscabo de su salud espiritual. Pero el tipo de cansancio que es para servir a otros, enseñar, contribuye al crecimiento personal, da alegría al corazón y satisfacción de hacer algo bueno.
"Instruye al niño en su camino, Y aun cuando fuere viejo no se apartará de él". (Proverbios 22:6). Los tiempos actuales son muy difíciles para los jóvenes, coloquemos delante de ellos todo lo bueno, animarlos en sus estudios, guiarlos en el logro de sus metas, el deporte, la música, la sana recreación, pero los buenos fundamentos tenemos que colocarlos desde que son pequeños, con buenos hábitos y valores.

Well now in their youth, Jairo is 17 and Jensson is 20, they still take pleasure in doing it and I like that very much. But they had never participated in singing before and this year they were encouraged to participate in the Christmas cantata singing Christmas carols, "Venid pastorcillos", "Din, Don", and many other well-known ones. I am pleased to see them practicing, rehearsing and now with the staging.
