Howdy, Hive :)
It's the weekend in my side of town, a bright Saturday with the cool gentle winds bringing some breezy vibes in the air. My kind of day. And in times like these, I do enjoy going out and spending some quiet moments with nature, may it be in the woods or simply having a wee conversation with the plants in the yard, lol!
Yeah, preferences do change as we age, don't they? Or is it just me, I wonder...
A couple of days ago, the husband and I went on a little adventure up the hills and were fortunate enough to have found some beautiful fungi on a fallen branch of a pine tree.
I wouldn't have noticed them if I was alone. Just glad that the hubby was around and had me take photos as he held on to the branch :)
We wondered if they were edible but dismissed the idea. And even if they were, we aren't that adventurous to taking them to our table.
Google Lens initially identified these as Galerina Marginata, and said they're potentially fatal. I'm kinda thankful that we didn't touch any of them at that time.
But then I wasn't convinced so I searched further which brought out another name, Kuehneromyces Mutabilis, and guess what? It says these kinds are edible. Oh well, I'll just have my eyes feast on their beauty hehe!
It fascinates me how things come about almost everywhere and so I just call them part of "nature's magic."
We wandered for a little while, breathed in and out the freshness of air up there, took many more shots of things big and small, thanked the heavens for everything there is and life as a whole...
And then we headed back home...
Life's good... and always will be because we chose to see that way.
Smile... laugh often... love more... be happy and grateful ALWAYS!
