Mushrooms we often find growing in damp and slightly wet places, this is a type of oyster mushroom that grows on a weathered tree, Usually this type of mushroom is often cultivated and sold. Oyster mushroom is a type of mushroom that can be eaten and has a fairly distinctive taste. This fungus also includes wood mushrooms that grow a lot on weathered wood trees and can grow depending on the source of nutrients, temperature, humidity, water, light, air and acidity. Plant Morphology Oyster mushroom is a woody mushroom that grows sideways on weathered logs. This mushroom has a fruiting body that can grow in the form of a shallow funnel like a shell. The body of this mushroom has a cap and stalk. Mushroom pileus has a shape similar to an oyster shell measuring 5 to 15 cm and the lower surface is layered like white and soft gills. Meanwhile, there are short stalks and long ones depending on the environmental and climatic conditions that affect its growth. This stalk supports the hood slightly laterally or eccentrically.
Oyster mushroom has a higher nutritional content than other mushrooms because it contains 18 kinds of amino acids needed by the human body and does not contain cholesterol. In addition, oyster mushrooms are a source of vegetable protein which is low in cholesterol so it can prevent high blood pressure (hypertension) and is very safe for those who are at risk of heart attack. This is due to the specific advantages of the oyster mushroom when compared to other plants and animals, namely its ability to convert cellulose/lignin into cholesterol-free polysaccharides and proteins so that it is good for avoiding high cholesterol levels in the blood and it can reduce high blood pressure attacks (strokes). may appear at any time.
