It happened two weeks ago at my office. A discussion concerning the high birth rate of poor citizens and how they were coping with the current T-pain government regime in my country. All of a sudden, a female colleague interjected the discuss with a "simple solution" and she encapsulated her point in a single phrase, which I later learnt was the name of a movie.....what happened to Monday?
There were several hypes here and there about this movie but it was lost on me but with the discuss bringing it up again, I knew I had to watch it. I downloaded the movie from my "movie box app" and also got my popcorn ready. I thought it would be like any other action movie but I was in for a splendid rollercoaster ride.

Synopsis
The movie begins with a proposal for a single child family so as to curb overpopulation on Earth but Willem Dafoe (as Terrence Settman) refused such a policy especially after his daughter gave birth to identical septuplets. He decided to raise them on his own, right under the nostrils of Glenn Close (as Nicole Cayman) , head of the Child Allocation Bureau. Thirty years later, we are introduced to the septuplets all grown up and pretty identical but all bearing a "single identity" as Karen settman (played by Noomi Repace). They were each named according to the days of the week, granting them an opportunity to go out individually only on
the day as their names.
The story was smooth sails until Monday didn't come back home from work one day and her siblings were left in disarray. In the quest to investigate Monday's disappearance, each sibling took a huge risk by coming out even though they knew how risky it was . In the end, it was discovered that Monday was pregnant with twins and ao she exchanged her family's secret for the lives of her unborn kids. Apparently, the Child Allocation Bureau were secretly killing the siblings of families they forcefully arrest, unbeknownst to the citizens but thanks to the wit of Thursday Settman, the whole world got to know this hideous truth.
Review
Well what can I say other than wow! My 123 minutes was not wasted as I enjoyed every bit of the movie. I must commend the director on his directing skills. There was smooth transition between the scenes and barely any lacunas. I won't fail to commend Noomi Repacw on her role as all seven settman daughters. She really did great. All the other actors flowed seamlessly and there was no actor lagging behind in character display.
The actions scenes were very "action packed" that I found myself jumping off my seat a few times out of fright, when a gun was fired. The love hate relationship between the citizens and the C.A.B administration was also profound and true to the letter. The mixture of slight humour mixed with sibling rivalry and betrayal plus the realization that they were screwed by one of them was so emotional. I felt like beating Monday settman's character and put some sense into her. Noomi Replace really interpreted each roll well. From her laughs to her crying over the death of her siblings, all was top notch 👍.
Usually, after I watch a movie, I delete it but I'm finding it hard to delete this particular movie. It is definitely a keeper. I rate this movie a 9/10. It was fun and thrilling to watch plus it deserves an Oscar.
