I started watching this movie with doubts, this franchise has been around since 1967, and I stumbled on a series with this title on Netflix and I didn’t like it but I said heck yeah let me watch this one because I was bored.
Let’s analyse the art style

This movie without a doubt has superb animators and a solid script.

Ken sato grew up admiring ultraman,we see that through his toys and costumes, but along the line the admiration turned to dread because he saw ultraman choosing the city over his family.
Even though that is quite admirable in the public sense, this is a family movie and children don’t tend to understand these things.
I love how even though he doesn’t get along with his dad he still came back to his town to become ultraman as an adult.
Let’s meet his daughter

She’s actually cuter than this but I like this action shot. Now he stumbled on an unexpected surprise. Which to an extent warmed my heart, I loved how he took care of her and how he told her he’s her daddy, the movie is filled with a lot of warm moments.
So if you’re someone in need of a family focused movie that doesn’t deviate into love or horror, this wonderfully scripted animated piece meets the mark.
