I rarely watch movies. For some reason, I find it hard to muster the patience to sit through a three-hour film. Instead, I prefer reading novels. Despite taking more time, I don't find reading as daunting as watching a movie.
Lately, however, my Instagram feed has been flooded with reels from the movie Lapata Ladies. Everyone seems to be talking about it, and my friends have been urging me to watch it for quite some time. So, I finally decided to give it a try.
Laapataa Ladies (transl. Lost ladies) is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language comedy drama film directed by Kiran Rao, tells the story of two young newly-wed brides who get exchanged during a train ride to their husband's homes.

Wow, what a refreshing experience! Lapata Ladies is probably one of the best movies I've seen to date. It captivated me from start to finish, and I found myself crying multiple times throughout the film. *The storyline is heartfelt and compelling, the characters are wonderfully developed, and the acting is superb. The simplicity and beauty with which everything is portrayed make it a truly remarkable film. *
Everything about the movie felt just perfect. From the direction to the cinematography, every aspect was handled with such care and finesse. It's rare for me to recommend movies, especially on a platform like this, where I'm more inclined to discuss books. But Lapata Ladies has earned a special place in my heart, and I believe it's worth watching.
So, if you're looking for a movie that will move you deeply and leave a lasting impression, I highly recommend giving Lapata Ladies a watch. I'm eager to hear your thoughts and reviews once you've seen it
Let me know, what you guys think of it💜
Till then, goodbye💫
