Me agrada volver a este espacio cinematográfico de Hive. Acá he compartido muchas películas, series y hasta aquellos clásicos de TV de los 90s. Me agrada este lugar porque también lo uso como referencia para cuando no sé qué ver. Revisar esta comunidad es vital para el disfrute de una buena producción cinematográfica. Que se los digo yo.
I'm glad to be back to this cinematographic space of Hive. Here I have shared many movies, series and even those TV classics from the 90s. I like this place because I also use it as a reference for when I don't know what to watch. Reviewing this community is vital for the enjoyment of a good film production. I'm telling you.
Esta fue una de las series más inquietante que he podido ver en Netflix. No solo por la trama de la serie, sino, porque cuando estaba por ver el último capítulo se me fue suspendido el servicio de Netflix y no conseguí quien podría alquilar alguna pantalla. Sí, por esa misma razón las reglas de Netflix tuvieron un gran giro no sé si fue solo en Venezuela lo que sí es seguro que ahora hay muchas más retenciones y el no cumplirlas puede que pierdas el dinero invertido. Entonces si, justo cuando me tocaba ver ese último capítulo tuve que esperar casi un mes después para terminar con esta dramática e interesante historia de la vida real llevada a la pantalla lo cual últimamente lo hemos visto muy recurrente y sobre todo en Netflix.
This was one of the most disturbing series I've been able to watch on Netflix. Not only because of the plot of the series, but, because when I was about to watch the last chapter my Netflix service was suspended and I couldn't find anyone who could rent a screen. Yes, for that same reason Netflix rules had a big change, I don't know if it was only in Venezuela, but it is certain that now there are many more retentions and if you don't comply with them you may lose the money you have invested. So yes, just when it was my turn to watch that last chapter I had to wait almost a month later to finish with this dramatic and interesting real life story brought to the screen which lately we have seen it very recurrent and especially on Netflix.
La historia del asesino de una niña asiática adoptada por unos españoles fue una noticia de la que se habló mucho en su momento. El caso es ciertamente interesante aunque la adaptación me dejó muchas dudas porque las pruebas demostraban que eran culpables pero al mismo tiempo inocentes. No supe coincidir con el veredicto final considero que si fue esa la investigación algo estuvo mal por parte de todas las autoridades y no quiero decir que no puedan ser los asesinos, pero, siempre existe el pero. Hubo algunas incongruencias que me dejaron pensativo.
The story of the murderer of an Asian girl adopted by some Spaniards was a much talked about news at the time. The case is certainly interesting although the adaptation left me with many doubts because the evidence showed that they were guilty but at the same time innocent. I could not agree with the final verdict I consider that if that was the investigation something was wrong on the part of all the authorities and I do not want to say that they could not be the murderers, but, there is always a but. There were some inconsistencies that left me thoughtful.
Las actuaciones en muchos casos estuvieron decentes. No suele ser muy apegado a los actores españoles o a las producciones aunque en este caso, hubo excepciones. No me agradó mucho como actuaba Candela Peña quien hacía el papel de Rosario Porto Ortega madre de Asunta. No sé, la nominada 6 veces a los premios Goya y galardonada por tres ocasiones no le convenció. En todo momento parecía una total demente, incapaz de ser la madre de cualquier niño. Y me pregunto, ¿Cómo es que ningún familiar apareció a defender o a desmentir cualquier calamidad sobre la madre? ¿O es que acaso estuvo loca desde el principio? Pero esta actuación en cierto punto me pareció vacía pues si fuese el caso de que la madre si era toda una psicópata, pudo la actriz ser más convincente.
The performances in many cases were decent. I am not usually very attached to Spanish actors or productions although in this case, there were exceptions. I was not very pleased with the acting of Candela Peña who played the role of Rosario Porto Ortega, Asunta's mother. I don't know, the 6 times Goya Award nominee and three times award winner didn't convince me. At all times she seemed totally demented, incapable of being the mother of any child. And I wonder, how come no family member showed up to defend or deny any calamity about the mother? Or was she crazy from the beginning? But this performance seemed hollow to me at a certain point because if it were the case that the mother was a psychopath, the actress could have been more convincing.
Aun de mis anteriores argumentos esta es una historia para comerse las uñas especialmente para aquellos que les gusta ver este tipo de historia reales. A mi me gustan pues me parece una manera inteligente de decirnos que todo nuestro sistema judicial o policiaco tiene falla. Y es así, en muchos de estos casos suele ser por .... De las autoridades competentes. Se acuerdan del asesino en serie Jeffrey Dahmer un gran ejemplo de lo que nos depara el destino cuando está en las manos de quienes nos protegen.
Even from my previous arguments this is a nail biting story especially for those who like to see this kind of true story. I like them because I think it is a clever way of telling us that our entire judicial or police system is flawed. And it is so, in many of these cases it is usually because of ..... Of the competent authorities. Remember the serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, a great example of what fate has in store for us when it is in the hands of those who protect us.
In my humble opinion, it is a good adaptation even in spite of its congruencies. As I have said in previous posts, I will not give but only my opinion to the point of trying not to make a spoiler although for this production, words are superfluous. If you want and like, you can watch it so we can share some opinions about this not so new production.
