Hola amantes del cine y la televisión en hive, una vez más como es costumbre les compartiré mi opinión sobre series y películas que he visto recientemente, en este caso termine hace poco de ver ésta serie del 2014 de misterio y tipo policíaca en la cual dos detectives se encargarán de un caso sobre una muerte que los llevará a algo más macabro y misterioso, en donde los rituales, la magia negra y la corrupción intentarán quitarlos del camino en su búsqueda de información. Hace poco la terminé y me encantó por completo, sin duda una gran temporada que a pesar de que tuvo un final increíble me dejó con ganas de ver aún más de aquellos dos detectives, es enganchante, tiene mucho suspenso y cada episodio te dejará con ganas de más. Hello movie and TV lovers in hive, once again as usual I will share with you my opinion about series and movies I've seen recently, in this case I recently finished watching this 2014 series of mystery and detective type in which two detectives will be in charge of a case about a death that will lead them to something more macabre and mysterious, where rituals, black magic and corruption will try to get them out of the way in their search for information. I recently finished it and I loved it completely, without a doubt a great season that even though it had an incredible ending left me wanting to see even more of those two detectives, it's hooking, has a lot of suspense and each episode will leave you wanting more. Hablando un poco sobre el cast de la serie contamos con un reparto lleno de mucho talento, con dos grandes del mundo del cine tenemos como protagonistas a Matthew McConaughey quien interpreta al detective Rust Cohle y junto a el trabaja Woody Harrelson interpretando al detective Marty Hart, ambos se unen para resolver un extraño caso que involucra a un culto y del cual no están preparados para todo lo que les vendrá al ir investigando. Entres otros actores y actrices que participaron en esta primera temporada contamos con Michelle Monaghan haciendo a la esposa del detective Hart, Michael Potts y Tory Kittles quienes luego de unos cuantos años vuelven para resolver un caso que quizás este relacionado con nuestros protagonistas. Contamos también con las participaciones de Kevin Dunn, Alexandra Daddario, Brighton Sharbino, Elizabeth Reaser, Jay O. Sanders, Shea Whigham y Michael Harney.
Estos actores y actrices se unieron para darles vida a estos complicados personajes, en donde verán dificultades no solo en sus vidas personales sino en todo lo referente al extraño caso de un asesinato el cual tiene símbolos y objetos muy al estilo de un ritual pagano. Nuestros detectives deberán buscar el significado de todas esas pistas y quizás esto los lleve a algo mas grande que solo un asesinato.

Esta serie de televisión estadounidense de género drama policíaco, misterio y crimen y de antología (lo que quiere decir que en cada temporada cambian los personajes y las historias) que fue transmitida a través de la plataforma de streaming HBO MAX (MAX) y cuenta con 4 temporadas con un total de 8 episodios cada temporada (exceptuando la temporada 4 la cual tiene 6 episodios), los episodios de la primera temporada cuentan con una duración de 55 a 60 minutos.
La trama de la primera temporada se centra en el caso de el asesinato de una joven al estilo de un ritual pagano, en dicha investigación son asignados el detective Marty Hart quien es conocido por ser un veterano detective de la División de Investigaciones Criminales de la Policía Estatal de Luisiana y a el se le asigna un compañero llamado Rust Cohle quien es un detective de la Policía Estatal de Luisiana, recién llegado de Texas (al comenzar la historia) el cual es un tanto diferente a los demás detectives. Ambos a pesar de tener ciertos roces de personalidad y de formas de trabajar se unen para ir resolviendo este extraño caso, a medida que la serie avanza no solo vemos el avance de la investigación sino que también vamos viendo el lado de la vida personal de nuestros detectives los cuales no son tan perfectos. A pesar de las formas un poco arriesgadas de conseguir más pistas y datos de el detective Cohle ambos consiguen algo incluso más grande de lo que imaginaban.

Hace poco terminé la serie succession, la cual me encantó y me dejó bastante triste de que se haya terminado, y para atacar un poco esa tristeza de haber terminado esa increíble serie decidí buscar entre mi lista de series y películas por ver una serie para distraerme un poco y así di con esta. Al inicio guarde esta serie por el hecho de que trabaja el increíble Matthew McConaughey en ella y me emocionaba el hecho de que fuera una serie de detectives ya que es un género que últimamente me ha gustado mucho así que sin darle muchos rodeos comencé a verla y de verdad que tenía muy poca idea de lo que iba a ver, incluso les digo que me la terminé en menos de cuatro días ya que de verdad conecté muy rápido con la historia y cada episodio era mejor que el anterior. La serie es suspenso desde que inicia hasta que termina pero es un suspenso del bueno en donde sabes que algo muy malo ocurrió y pronto conocerás la verdad de ello.
I recently finished the series succession, which I loved and left me quite sad that it is over, and to attack a little of that sadness of having finished that amazing series I decided to search through my list of series and movies to watch a series to distract me a little and so I found this one. At the beginning I kept this series because of the fact that the incredible Matthew McConaughey works in it and I was excited about the fact that it was a detective series since it is a genre that lately I have liked a lot so without giving it much detours I started watching it and I really had very little idea of what I was going to see, I even tell you that I finished it in less than four days since I really connected very quickly with the story and each episode was better than the previous one. The series is suspenseful from start to finish but it is a good suspense where you know that something very bad happened and soon you will know the truth of it.
La serie juega mucho con los escenarios y los pequeños detalles, es una serie de la cual tienes que estar al pendiente de los detalles, los personajes porque nadie sale por casualidad, cada personaje tiene su importancia tanto en la investigación del asesinato como dentro de las vidas personales de nuestros protagonistas. La simbología es muy importante ya que es algo que destaca en el caso en donde existen todas estas teorías sobre si es un culto satánico, algún ritual religioso o si quizás se trate de algún psicópata que los use para dejar alguna marca pero cualquiera que sea la razón son de gran importancia en la recolección de pistas. La serie también juega con los tiempos ya que nos muestran el inicio de el caso en el año 1995 y a su vez muestran fragmentos de lo que sería su actualidad en el año 2012, mostrando un periodo de 17 años en donde quizás el caso no se haya resuelto por completo.
Los personajes son complejos tanto en su forma de trabajar como en su estilo de vida e ideales, nuestro detective Hart es bastante astuto y un poco relajado, trabaja de manera progresiva, analiza los datos y detalles y busca pistas pero nuestro detective Rust es más arriesgado, busca conexiones y visita lugares, pregunta a personas e incluso no teme en tener que usar la fuerza para conseguir información. Ambos tienen esta dinámica de policía bueno y malo pero que en ocasiones los papeles cambian y aunque al principio parece que ambos se llevan mal y tienen esta extraña rivalidad luego podemos ver que ambos buscan la manera de entenderse y de comprender sus acciones e ideas. Mi personaje favorito fue el detective Rust porque me pareció un personaje diferente con un estilo un tanto excéntrico, con un pensamiento pesimista y reducido pero a la vez alguien muy culto e inteligente, buscaba pistas y conexiones de una manera increíble y la forma que si tenía alguna duda ésta no lo iba a dejar hasta que la resolviera.

The characters are complex both in the way they work and in their lifestyle and ideals, our detective Hart is quite astute and a bit laid back, he works progressively, analyzes data and details and looks for clues but our detective Rust is more risky, he looks for connections and visits places, questions people and even is not afraid of having to use force to get information. They both have this good cop/bad cop dynamic but that sometimes the roles change and although at first it seems like they both get along badly and have this strange rivalry then we can see that they both look for ways to understand each other and each other's actions and ideas. My favorite character was Detective Rust because he seemed to me a different character with a somewhat eccentric style, with a pessimistic and reduced thinking but at the same time someone very cultured and intelligent, he looked for clues and connections in an incredible way and the way that if he had any doubt this one was not going to leave him until he solved it.
Aunque nunca he sido fanática de las series de detectives últimamente me han gustado mucho ciertas películas de este género como lo son se7en, zodiac y gone girl las cuales son películas con casos fuertes pero que se hicieron muy famosas por lo atrayentes y emocionante de sus tramas, así fue como me sentí al ver la primera temporada de esta serie y aunque no tenga más temporadas de estos dos grandes detectives la serie tiene un cierre grandioso, muy emotivo y que te llena de satisfacción. No es aburrida sino que en cada capítulo te alimenta de información que te deja con ganas de saber más y aunque poco a poco todo se vuelva más turbio y horrible luego podemos ver aunque sea una pequeña luz de esperanza todo gracias a nuestros protagonistas.
Although I have never been a fan of detective series lately I have really liked certain films of this genre such as se7en, zodiac and gone girl which are films with strong cases but became very famous for the attractiveness and excitement of their plots, that was how I felt when I saw the first season of this series and although it has no more seasons of these two great detectives the series has a great closing, very emotional and that fills you with satisfaction. It is not boring but in each chapter feeds you with information that leaves you wanting to know more and although little by little everything becomes more murky and horrible then we can see even a small glimmer of hope all thanks to our protagonists.
Me encantó por completo la serie, es bastante realista en cuanto a lo que es el encubrimiento de ciertos hechos, como a veces ciertas situaciones no llegan a la luz y también lo difícil de ser un detective en el ámbito de tener que ir a lugares peligrosos solo para obtener información, el que a veces no puedas pasar por encima de la autoridad cuando un caso te afecta, también el cambio psicológico que ver y tener que lidiar con esa situaciones te puede causar. La forma en la que muestran a sus personajes es bastante realista y los problemas que tenían también, esta primera temporada definitivamente fue excepcional desde todos los aspectos y estoy pensando en verla de nuevo porque realmente me encantó, quizás en algún momento decida continuar la serie y conocer más historias y más personajes pero por el momento estoy completamente obsesionada con su primera temporada, fue fuerte y muestra de manera cruda todo lo que hay detrás de una simple portada que hable sobre algún suceso.

The way they show their characters is quite realistic and the problems they had as well, this first season was definitely exceptional from all aspects and I am thinking of watching it again because I really loved it, maybe at some point I will decide to continue the series and get to know more stories and more characters but for the moment I am completely obsessed with its first season, it was strong and it shows in a raw way everything behind a simple cover that talks about some event.
