Hello, I know I said I would share more movie reviews, but if you are following me, you are aware of the life updates. There are already 4 more movies I want to share with you and I will continue to watch them as soon as possible. The movie I will share with you today is Luther: The Fallen Sun. Get your popcorn ready.
Let me tell you in advance that I will give you a limited spoiler about the movie. You won't know everything about the movie but you will have an idea, just as if you watched the trailer of the movie. The first thing I want to talk about is the acting. I have to say that especially two actors did a tremendous job. Idris Elba (John Luther in the movie) and Andy Serkis (David Robey in the movie). The leads were so good that you should definitely see their acting. I personally have always admired Andy Serkis' acting. You will all remember him as Gollum in Lord of the Rings. He portrays the role so well that I am sure you will try your best not to meet the psychopath in the movie in real life.
The movie starts with a detective trying to find a kidnapped child, but our killer has penetrated so deep that he is powerful enough to put the detective in jail somehow. After the detective is in jail, he has enough access to everywhere that he can make him listen to the audio recordings on the radio. But our detective doesn't stop there and plans a prison break to catch the killer. He is helped by a man who loves his daughter very much because the kidnapped people are usually innocent young people who are being blackmailed.
After escaping, our detective tries to catch the killer in secret and a cat and mouse game begins. The killer escapes and the detective chases. But the killer again uses his connections within the police to try to catch the lead detective. He succeeds to some extent. Because this is such a killer that he also manages to kidnap the daughter of the lead detective assigned to catch him, and she has to desperately capture Luther and take him to him. Luther convinces her and they make a plan. Unfortunately, the plan doesn't go as they want because the killer lures them to a house in a snowy field with nothing around it. They get caught and have to hurt each other. And our killer David even turns it into a show. There are thousands of people watching all this on the internet. He blackmails and kills people for all the freaks who are outcasts, as he calls them. And what happens at the end of this show? You should definitely watch the movie to find out.
The first thing you should take away from the movie is how scary blackmail can reach. You can take away a person's life with a simple blackmail. Imagine if everyone knew some top secret information about you, it doesn't have to be something very embarrassing, but even if it's not, people are afraid of it. Because the feeling of embarrassment and shame is all-consuming and many people would rather die than have their secrets revealed in real life. Imagine peeing your pants in your sleep. Would you rather people find out or would you rather die? I would definitely want people to know because it's probably an illness or a trauma, but most people can't handle that. Not everyone has the same psychological stability. So you have to be very careful when you talk about people's sensitivities. You never know where things are going to go.
If I had to rate the movie, I would give it 9.5 out of 10. It was really one of the most enjoyable movies I have seen recently. Although there are no twists in the plot that will surprise you too much, I am sure you will watch it with curiosity. The script was also quite consistent. There are no scenes in the movie that you can't wrap your head around and say how could this happen. You will also realize this while watching. I mentioned the acting above, but watch it and see what I'm talking about!

Film hakkında kısıtlı bir spoiler vereceğimi şimdiden size söyleyeyim. Filme dair her şeyi bilmeyeceksiniz ancak bir fikriniz olacak, tıpkı filmin fragmanını izlemişsiniz gibi düşünün. Bahsetmek istediğim ilk şey ise oyunculuklar. Özellikle iki oyuncunun muazzam iş çıkardığını söylemeliyim. Idris Elba(filmde John Luther) ve Andy Serkis(filmde David Robey). Başroller o kadar iyiydi ki kesinlikle oyunculuklarını görmelisiniz. Ben şahsen Andy Serkis'in oyunculuğuna her zaman hayran olmuşumdur. Yüzüklerin Efendisindeki Gollum rolünden onu hepiniz hatırlayacaksınız. Rolü o kadar iyi size yansıtıyor ki filmdeki psikopatla gerçek hayatta karşılaşmamak için elinizden geleni yapacağınıza eminim.
Film bir dedektifin, kaçırılan bir çocuğu bulmaya çalışmasıyla başlıyor ancak katilimiz o kadar derinlere nüfuz etmiş ki dedektifi bir şekilde hapse attıracak kadar güçlü. Dedektif hapse girdikten sonra ona radyodan ses kaydı dinletebilecek kadar da her yere erişimi olan birisi. Ancak dedektifimiz burada durmuyor ve katili yakalayabilmek için hapisten kaçış planı yapıyor. Kızını çok seven bir adam ona yardım ediyor çünkü kaçırılan kişiler genelde şantaja uğramış masum gençler.
Dedektifimiz kaçtıktan sonra gizli bir şekilde katili yakalamaya çalışıyor ve adeta bir kedi fare oyunu başlıyor. Katil kaçıyor ve dedektif kovalıyor. Ancak katil yine polisin içindeki bağlantılarını kullanarak başroldeki dedektifi yakalatmaya çalışıyor. Bir nebze de başarılı oluyor. Çünkü bu öyle bir katil ki kendisini yakalaması için görevlendirilen baş dedektifin kızını kaçırmayı da başarıyor ve kadın çaresiz bir şekilde Luther'i yakalayıp adama götürmek zorunda kalıyor. Luther kadını ikna ediyor ve bir plan yapıyorlar. Maalesef plan istedikleri gibi gitmiyor çünkü katil onları karlı bir arazide etrafında hiçbir şey olmayan bir eve tuzağa çekiyor. Yakalanıyorlar ve birbirlerine zarar vermek zorunda kalıyorlar. Ve katilimiz David bunu bir şova bile çeviriyor. Bütün bunları internet üzerinden izleyen binlerce kişi var. Kendi tabiriyle dışlanan bütün ucubeler için bu şantajları yapıyor ve insanları öldürüyor. Peki bu şovun sonunda ne mi olacak? Öğrenmek için mutlaka filmi izlemelisiniz.
Filmden çıkarmanız gereken ilk şey şantajın ne kadar korkutucu seviyelere ulaşabileceği. Basit bir şantajla bir insanın hayatını elinden alabilirsiniz. Size dair çok gizli bir bilgiyi herkesin öğrendiğini düşünün, bu çok utanç verici bir şey olmak zorunda değil ama öyle olmasa bile insanlar bundan çekiniyor. Çünkü mahcup olma, utanma duygusu insanı yiyip bitiren bir şey. Birçok insan gerçek hayatta da sırlarının açığa çıkmasındansa ölmeyi tercih ediyor. Uykunuzda altınıza işediğinizi düşünün. Bunu insanların öğrenmesini mi yoksa ölmeyi mi tercih edersiniz? Filme puan vermem gerekirse 10 üzerinden 9.5 veririm. Gerçekten son zamanlarda izlediğim en keyifli filmlerden biriydi. Olay örgüsünde sizi aşırı şaşırtacak ters köşeler olmasa da merakla izleyeceğinize eminim. Senaryo da oldukça tutarlıydı. Filmde kafanıza oturtamayacağınız ve bu nasıl olabilir diyebileceğiniz sahneler yok. İzlerken bunu siz de fark edeceksiniz. Oyunculuklardan yukarıda bahsettim ama izleyin ve neden bahsettiğimi görün!
