Hello my dear cinephile friends! I hope you are very well. I'm very happy that I still have time to participate in this Christmas contest even though the holidays are over, and today I want to share with you my opinion about my favorite DreamWorks Christmas short films, which I was lucky enough to get on DVD format several years ago and that I always like to enjoy during the Christmas season. I hope you like them!

Estoy muy contenta de todavΓa estar a tiempo para participar en este concurso navideΓ±o a pesar de que ya pasaron las fiestas, y hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi opiniΓ³n acerca de mis cortometrajes favoritos navideΓ±os de DreamWorks, los cuales tuve la suerte de conseguir en formato DVD hace varios aΓ±os y que siempre me gusta disfrutar en temporada navideΓ±a. Espero les gusten!
π Plot / Trama π
In this special that consists of 3 short films, we can see the Christmas adventure of the animals of Madagascar, which left Santa Claus amnesiac after knocking him down believing that he was the red goblin that was throwing coal at them, so to correct his mistake and that no one If the world is left without Christmas, they decide to go to the North Pole to look for gifts and Santa's sleigh to deliver the gifts themselves.
En este especial que consta de 3 cortometrajes, podemos ver la aventura navideΓ±a de los animales de Madagascar, los cuales dejaron a Santa Claus amnesico luego de derribarlo creyendo que es el duende rojo que les lanzaba carbΓ³n, asΓ que para enmendar su error y que nadie en el mundo se quede sin Navidad deciden ir al Polo Norte a buscar los regalos y el trineo de Santa para entregar ellos mismos los regalos.
We can also enjoy Shrek and Fiona's first Christmas together as a family with their own children, in which at first Shrek did not want to celebrate, however he ends up agreeing but gets a little uncomfortable when he sees that Donkey, Puss in Boots and their others friends break into his house to bring them Christmas decorations and celebrate with them and he ends up running everyone out of his house, although later thanks to Fiona he ends up regretting it and inviting everyone back home to spend Christmas together.
TambiΓ©n podemos disfrutar la primera Navidad de Shrek y Fiona juntos como familia con sus propios hijos, en la cual al principio Shrek no la querΓa celebrar, sin embargo termina accediendo pero se pone un poco incΓ³modo al ver que Burro, Gato con Botas y sus demΓ‘s amigos irrumpen en su casa para llevarles decoraciones navideΓ±as y celebrar junto a ellos y termina corriendo a todo el mundo de su casa aunque luego gracias a Fiona termina arrepintiΓ©ndose e invitando a todos nuevamente a casa para pasar juntos la Navidad.
And finally we can also enjoy the adventure of Hiccup and Toothless when in the preparations for the winter holidays, all the dragons of Berk fly unexpectedly except for Toothless because he cannot fly on his own due to damage to his tail, so Hiccup makes him a prosthesis so that he can fly on his own, also allowing him to escape. After the eggs of a hidden dragon explode, devastating all of Berk, all the dragons return to Berk in the company of their offspring, and everyone is happy except Hiccup since Toothless didn't return, although he does return bringing a Hiccup's lost helmet. After destroying his prosthesis so he could fly alone, Hiccup says that Toothless gave him a beautiful gift, his friendship.
Y por ΓΊltimo tambiΓ©n podemos disfrutar de la aventura de Hipo y Chimuelo cuando en los preparativos para las vacaciones de invierno, todos los dragones de Berk vuelan inesperadamente a excepciΓ³n de Chimuelo ya que no puede volar por sΓ solo debido al daΓ±o en su cola, entonces Hipo le fabrica una prΓ³tesis para que pueda volar por sΓ solo permitiendo tambiΓ©n su fuga. Luego de que los huevos de un dragΓ³n que tenΓa escondido explotan devastando todo Berk, todos los dragones regresan a Berk en compaΓ±Γa de sus crΓas, y todo el mundo se alegra menos Hipo ya que Chimuelo no regresΓ³, aunque si lo hace trayendo un casco perdido de Hipo. Luego de destruir su prΓ³tesis para poder volar solo, Hipo dice que Chimuelo le dio un hermoso regalo, su amistad.
π My Opinion / Mi OpiniΓ³n π
It's no secret that I'm a big fan of all these DreamWorks movies, and the fact that they released these Christmas specials in a single volume made me very happy and the first time I saw them I really liked them a lot. I really like the work done by the voice actors in each of the short films, because the main actors repeat their respective roles in each short film, and I love it because among them are several of the actors that I have admired for a long time, such as the case of Cameron DΓaz, Antonio Banderas and Eddie Murphy in Shrek, also Ben Stiller, Chris Rock and Jada Pinkett in Madagascar and America Ferrera, Kristen Wiig and Gerard Butler in How To Train Your Dragon, all of whom I'm happy that they were able to participate because they all seem incredible to me.
No es un secreto que soy muy fan de todas estas pelΓculas de DreamWorks, y el que lanzaran estos especiales navideΓ±os en un sΓ³lo volumen me contentΓ³ muchΓsimo y la primera vez que los vi realmente me gustaron mucho. Me gusta mucho el trabajo realizado por los actores de doblaje en cada uno de los cortometrajes, ya que los actores principales repiten sus respectivos papeles en cada cortometraje, y me encanta ya que entre ellos se encuentran varios de los actores que admiro desde hace tiempo como es el caso de Cameron DΓaz, Antonio Banderas y Eddie Murphy en el de Shrek, tambiΓ©n Ben Stiller, Chris Rock y Jada Pinkett en el de Madagascar y America Ferrera, Kristen Wiig y Gerard Butler en el de Como Entrenar a tu DragΓ³n, los cuales estoy contenta de que hayan podido participar ya que todos me parecen increΓbles.
Although I always say that I don't really like 3D animation, I really liked the animation of each of the short films, which also use wide color palettes that work quite well. I really like all three shorts a lot though, I think my favorite is the Shrek one (in fact I reviewed it individually separately last month) as it really made me laugh, although I would also dare say that the Madagascar one also amused me a lot and I liked that the Penguins appeared because they are ones of my favorite characters in the Madagascar saga, and I liked the scene in which Private the penguin falls in love with Cupid, Santa's reindeer, and on the other hand I also liked it a lot the short film of How to Train Your Dragon,especially the ending because if there is something I like about that saga, it's the beautiful bond of friendship that exists between Hiccup and Toothless. The music that accompanies each short also seems pleasant to me, especially the versions of "Shrek The Halls" and "Santa Claus Is Coming To Madagascar" which also work very well.
Aunque siempre digo que no me gusta mucho la animaciΓ³n 3D, realmente me gustΓ³ la animaciΓ³n de cada uno de los cortometrajes, los cuales tambiΓ©n usan paletas de colores amplias que funcionan bastante bien. Realmente me gustan mucho los tres cortos sin embargo, creo que mi favorito es el de Shrek (de hecho lo reseΓ±Γ© individualmente por separado el mes pasado) ya que realmente me hizo reΓr, aunque tambiΓ©n me atreverΓa a decir que el de Madagascar tambiΓ©n me divirtiΓ³ mucho y me gustΓ³ que aparecieran los PingΓΌinos ya que son de mis personajes favoritos de la saga de Madagascar, y me gustΓ³ la escena en la que Cabo el pingΓΌino se enamora de Cupido, la reno de Santa, y por otro lado tambiΓ©n me gustΓ³ mucho el cortometraje de Como Entrenar a Tu DragΓ³n, en especial me gustΓ³ el final ya que si hay algo que me gusta de esa saga es el lazo de amistad tan bonito que existe entre Hipo y Chimuelo. La mΓΊsica que acompaΓ±a a cada corto tambiΓ©n me parece agradable, en especial la versiones de "Shrek The Halls" y "Santa Claus Is Coming To Madagascar" las cuales tambiΓ©n funcionan muy bien.
Finally, I would say that although they are short films that are a little old, I never stop enjoying them every Christmas season and they really are incredible for family enjoyment. I would very much like to recommend them to everyone who has not seen them yet. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Para finalizar, dirΓa que aunque son cortometrajes ya un poco antiguos nunca dejo de disfrutarlos en cada temporada NavideΓ±a y realmente son increΓbles para el disfrute familiar. Me gustarΓa mucho recomendarlos a todos los que todavΓa no los hayan visto, espero que los disfruten tanto como yo.
