Saludos una vez más, en esta oportunidad deseo compartir una película deportiva, basada en la historia de un hombre que ama el baloncesto, ha dedicado su vida a este deporte como jugador, como un reclutador, pero su mayor deseo es poder llegar a dirigir y entrenar a un equipo grande en la liga, el dueño del equipo confía absolutamente en él, pero un cambio de circunstancia da un giro a la historia.
Sin embargo, el objetivo de este hombre es encontrar con su ojo clínico a un joven estrella que pueda cumplir las expectativas de este gran escenario y a su vez apoyarlo a cumplir sus sueños.
Una película que en lo particular, me llamó la atención por parte de sus protagonistas, Adam Sandler y Queen Latifah, sus actuaciones se han destacado por la comedia, pero su capacidad en el drama y la acción lo han hecho a mi modo de ver, grandes actores. Junto a estos destacados actores, también participan algunos jugadores de la NBA, dandole ese enfoque deportivo y atractivo, entre ellos el protagonista de esta historia Juancho Hernangómez. Para empezar, cuando tienes metas o sueños debes esforzarte por dar lo mejor de ti, a veces abran tropiezos, obstáculos y hasta pondrán en duda tus capacidades, pero depende de uno mismo y del apoyo de tus seres queridos para poder luchar por ello, de ahí que debes creer en ti mismo.
Recuerdo con cierta tristeza una situación que ocurrió hace unos cuantos años, yo estaba más muchacho, recuerdo que mi mamá quedó desempleada, luego de prácticamente pasar gran parte de su vida en un institución bancaria, de la noche a la mañana, fue intervenida y se fue a la banca rota, ni mi mamá, ni el país lo esperaban, miles de personas perdieron sus empleos y otros miles les retuvieron sus ahorros.
Como comenté mi madre tuvo gran parte de su vida en esa institución, de niño ella me llevaba a su oficina y pasaba allá el día jugando y aprendiendo cosas. Cuando ocurrió ese suceso, lamentablemente la liquidaron, pero no hubo referencia bancaria para para ir a otra institución, quedó en el aire así como miles de trabajadores y para su edad era difícil que la aceptaran.
En vista de la situación económica, le tocó buscar nuevamente trabajo pero con más de 40 años, fue difícil encontrarlo, generalmente las empresas buscan a personas jóvenes y emprendedores, lo más cómico del asunto es que piden personas jóvenes pero con experiencia, pero las personas que tienen experiencia en muchas ocasiones, no se toman en cuenta.
Ella logro encontrar trabajo en un restaurant de comida extranjera, pero con el tiempo, llego a expresarme sus emociones, sentía que la humillaban, que no valoraban sus esfuerzos, ni su experiencia laboral, a veces la vi llorar porque no podía comer decentemente, pero soporto esas vicisitudes por mi hermana y por mí, eramos ese motor para seguir luchando, además sentía que a su edad donde podría encontrar empleo nuevamente.

Eso me lleva a reflexionar, que uno puede seguir luchando y al final siempre habrá una recompensa, con el tiempo analizo bien las cosas, era su salud emocional y hasta física o su empleo, decidió renunciar, confiando en Dios y que se abrirían nuevas oportunidades, no podía seguir humillándose ante unas personas que primero no valoraron su trabajo y segundo no la trataron con el debido respeto al personal.
Creo que cuando uno se esfuerza a pesar de la edad ese valor adquirido a través del tiempo no pierde vigencia, lamentablemente no todos tienen esa visión y precisamente esta película me recordó eso, el valor que tiene la comprensión, la experiencia y sobre todo el esfuerzo que podemos hacer por conseguir nuestras metas y objetivos en la vida.
Caso contrario ocurre en el lugar donde me han dado la oportunidad para trabajar a mí, muchas veces el jefe ha expresado que valora mucho esa experiencia, lamentablemente los jóvenes a veces no se saben expresar o no han comprendido aún que el amor por el trabajo, el cariño por lo que hacemos, cuando es de buena gana siempre traerá buenos resultados, pero más que buenos resultados para un lugar, es el nombre que te haces delante de las personas y la reputación que te ganas. Eso es lo que se valora y eso también es lo que se destaca en esta película.
Con el tiempo mi madre encontró un empleo donde no solo ha permanecido por mas de 10 años, sino que aprovecho el tiempo para obtener un titulo en educacion superior, lo que le permitió optar por un mejor cargo y seguir aprendiendo.

The opposite happens in the place where I have been given the opportunity to work, many times the boss has expressed that he values that experience, unfortunately young people sometimes do not know how to express or have not yet understood that love for work, love for what we do, when it is willingly will always bring good results, but more than good results for a place, is the name you make in front of people and the reputation you earn. That is what is valued and that is also what is highlighted in this film.
Eventually my mother found a job where she has not only stayed for more than 10 years, but she took advantage of the time to get a degree in higher education, which allowed her to apply for a better position and continue learning.

Un aspecto también que destaca la película es la presión que a veces recibimos de parte de las personas que nos rodean, llámese ambiente laboral o deportivo muchas veces para hacernos perder los estribos pueden utilizarse expresiones que lleguen a lastimar y a veces las personas creen así que lograron su objetivo, sin embargo no se dan cuenta que aparte de lastimar, también contribuyen a sacar lo peor de nosotros si no sabemos controlarnos, sin embargo es parte de lo que debemos trabajar como personas, es cierto no nos gusta que nos insulten, no nos gusta que nos lastimen, sin embargo cuando la tendencia a devolver mal por mal, a pagar con la misma moneda, el resultado siempre es negativo, perdiendo también se gana dicen algunos, así que lo que nos define en realidad son nuestras acciones y no lo que otros piensen.
Ciertamente existen estereotipos y hay prejuicios marcados, es como observar una hoja en blanco que tenga un punto negro, y desecharla, en vez de ver un punto negro, porque no considerar que existe un gran espacio para escribir una historia, lamentablemente siempre nos fijamos en esos detalles mínimos de nosotros o de otras personas, nuestra naturaleza humana es cometer errores, sin embargo muchas veces un error a veces nos marca.
Por poner un ejemplo, todo el historial que ha tenido Will Smith como actor y productor se vino abajo por un impulso, por un error que cometió. ¿Qué hizo la mayoría? en esa hoja blanca observar esa mancha, dándole una nueva portada a ese libro, la pregunta es ¿cuántas páginas hay en ese libro escrito con buenas historias y con buenas anécdotas? lamentablemente el mundo del entretenimiento, deportivo y laboral, en donde sea, siempre habrá personas que juzgan nuestras acciones, pero nuestras propias fortalezas y habilidades se pueden destacar por si solas, queda de nuestra parte, en nuestro interior qué venzamos.
Lamentablemente en el mundo deportivo ocurre muchas veces que los deportistas tienden a retar a sus contrincantes y buscar esos puntos débiles para usarlos como estrategia para que pierdan el control, pierdan la concentración y obviamente no pueden destacarse. La intención es no imitar ese tipo de actuación y ser mejores cada día con nuestros propios esfuerzos, sin humillar a nadie, porque haciéndolo así recibiremos buenas recompensas, es cierto cometeremos errores, pero queda de nuestra parte corregir y cambiar eso nos hará mejores cada día y dejaremos huella cómo Garra lo hizo también.

Algo que también me hizo reflexionar, es el tiempo que dedicamos a nuestra familia, a lo laboral o al esparcimiento, muchas veces debemos hacer una pausa en nuestra actividades y ver cómo cómo están los miembros de nuestro hogar, sea nuestro conyugué, hijos o padres, ya que son al final los que muchas veces nos dan la motivación, para hacer lo que hacemos, porque siendo sincero si uno pudiera quedarse en su casa sin esfuerzo y recibir dinero para comprar las cosas necesarias, todos lo haríamos, pero así no es la vida. Es un esfuerzo constante que debemos equilibrar, ese tiempo que dedicamos a lo laboral a veces podemos descuidar cosas importantes como el bienestar de nuestros hijos, y cuando hablo de bienestar no me refiero a lo económico, muchas veces preguntarle ¿cómo está? ¿cómo les ha ido? esforzarnos por querer saber que necesitan, cuidar sus intereses emocionales.
Es cierto que a veces hay que hacer sacrificios, pero esos sacrificio nunca deben sobrepasar nuestra atención para los miembros de nuestra familia, también el apoyo familiar es importante, cuando nuestros seres queridos nos alientan a conseguir las cosas y hasta luchan a nuestro lado para lograrlo, eso te da otro impulso para continuar adelante, aun cuando se presenten obstáculos.
En mi caso tengo a mi esposa y a mi niño, verlo sonreír cada día y hacer nuevas cosas, que a veces nos dejan locos y nos sorprenden, y eso aparte de hacerme feliz, me da esa fuerza y animo para trabajar. Por eso decidimos qué es prioridad y qué merece nuestra atención, esta película nos lo recuerda.

It is true that sometimes we have to make sacrifices, but those sacrifices should never surpass our attention for our family members, also family support is important, when our loved ones encourage us to achieve things and even by our side they fight to achieve it, that gives you another impulse to continue forward, even when obstacles arise.
In my case I have my wife and my son, seeing him smile every day and do new things, which sometimes leave us crazy and surprise us, and that besides making me happy, gives me the strength and encouragement to work. That's why we decided that he is a priority and deserves our attention, and this movie reminds us of that.

Me animo que podemos divertirnos al observar esta película, aunque pudiera verse en familia si les recomiendo que tal vez los más pequeños en la casa se abstengan por el lenguaje que se usa, claro esta es una sugerencia de mi parte, al final cada familia lleva su formación y para eso están papá y mamá.
A veces cuando tenemos temor podemos hacernos a un lado, pero en ocasiones eso puede causar una mayor decepción; si aparece ese temor, tal vez sea necesario hacer una pausa, lo que nos lleva a reencontrarnos con nosotros mismos, para luego dar inicio a una nueva etapa de nuestras vidas, que nos ayuda a ver en la óptica correcta cuáles son nuestros objetivos y es algo también que pude reflexionar al observar esta película.
I hope that we can have fun watching this movie, although it could be seen with the family, I recommend that perhaps the youngest in the house should abstain, because of the language used, of course this is a suggestion from me, in the end each family has its own formation and that is what mom and dad are there for.

Definitivamente Garra aparte de tener comedia, drama y acción, también es una película muy reflexiva, que si te gustan los deportes vas a disfrutar frente a la pantalla.
De cierta manera la producción de esta película se esforzó por hacer un homenaje a las estrellas de este deporte, pero en mi opinión faltaron algunas, pero al final creo que es el nombre que se han hecho cada uno de de estas personas, lo que nos recuerda, que la reputación que nos hacemos dependerá de nuestras actitudes, de nuestras acciones, esa será la forma como nos reconocerán.
Si quieres disfrutar de esta producción y de las actuaciones de estas estrellas del cine norteamericano, tanto las jóvenes como las experimentadas estrellas, te invito a verla en la plataforma de Netflix, donde el toque mágico, por decirlo de alguna manera, son las habilidades y destrezas que se percibe de estos jugadores de baloncesto, un deporte que de verdad se las trae.
