SoucerHello dear Movies & TV Shows community, today I wanted to do something different to what my content is usually, for that I wanted to talk about a series of Netflix that not many know, but you will not regret giving a chance to this great series called The Sandman.
**But before I continue talking about all this series I have to warn that this post will have spoilers of the series and the comics from where they are adapted from.
SourceBeing a series that I found in Netflix a long time ago, it called my attention because of its dark and sinister style, but this nothing more than the promotional poster, because I had not seen a trailer or anything like that, literally without knowing anything about this series made me want to see it, taking me the surprise that this series belongs to Warner Bros by the fact that this series is inspired by DC comics.
More than inspiration, this series is an adaptation of a group that appear in DC comics, this group is called the Eternals, being a family, all brothers who were created to fulfill different tasks with humanity.
The protagonist of this series is one of these powerful beings, the king of dreams, Sandman or simply Dream, this character is the older brother and has the task of giving dreams and hope to people, that much will say that having this work is very ridiculous to be such a powerful entity, but only images a world where people do not have dreams or nightmares, would be simply empty jars, for this is this character, to control a kingdom that is in another dimension, a kingdom where they live all the dreams and nightmares.

This image I took from the same series.In order to say what the synopsis of the series is I have to say that when I watched it I felt like there was a plot twist halfway through the series, because after the middle of the series, the plot heads in a different direction.
The first part of the series this character is in charge of recovering a tool that was stolen by humanity, but this will bring many problems with some humans and also in hell, especially in this one where its ruler is Lucifer.

This character being the same character of which was previously made a series, only for this series the adaptation of lucifer is very different, because the lucifer of this series is more sinister, he is not a detective and does not feel empathy with humans.
Plus I don't understand why all the powerful characters in this series hate Sueño, who had to go to hell to get a tool that had been traded to a demon, so sueño went to hell to confront lucifer to get the tool back from one of his demons.
After a big fight a bit weird, dream wins, but lucifer is resentful and in a bad mood.
At the end here Dream went to look for the last thing he was missing, which was a ruby with much of its power, this jewel was in the hand of a lord who was causing havoc in a city, because the jewel had the power to make all dreams come true, as this lord was upset, he dreamed of a world without lies, which made people tell the whole truth and what they were hiding.
This image I took from the same series.This gentleman became the worst enemy that dream came to have, which this leads me to talk to something I don't like about this series, that they make the king of dreams look like a super powerful being, but any human with 1% of power is able to threaten him.
The good thing is that Dream was able to recover all his stuff and with this all his power.
With having recovered all his power, Sueño takes care of several problems that are happening in his kingdom, but this is the second stage of this series, which I do not want to talk so much because it is the most relevant of this series, but I can not leave without talking about the real antagonists of this series.
I want to comment on some more personal things, I already commented on how illogical it is the fact that this powerful entity is so easy to threaten, besides that constantly in the series we show a character called The Corinthian.
I took this image from the same series.Presented as a nightmare who managed to escape from the realm of dreams, this nightmare will be one of the main villains of this series, but not the only one.
Because the real villain this series is one of his brothers, one of the eternal ones, called Desire.
This image was taken from the same series.He is a younger brother of Sueño and it is said that he has always had a grudge against Sueño for always being above him, so he takes it upon himself to meddle in Sueños problems and make it worse.
But I'll leave this post until here to not ruin so much the first expression of this series, since I personally would give it a 7/10, because everything is very good, but that irregularity in the script does not convince me.

FuenteHola querida comunidad de Movies & TV Shows, el día de hoy quise hacer algo diferente a lo que es mi contenido por lo común, para eso he querido hablar de una serie de Netflix que no muchos conocen, pero que no se arrepentirán de darle una oportunidad a esta gran serie llamada The Sandman.
Pero antes de continuar hablando de todo esta serie tengo que advertir que este post tendrá spoilers de la serie y de los comics de donde son adaptados.
FuenteSiendo una serie que encontré en Netflix hace mucho tiempo, me llamo mucho la atención por su estilo tétrico y siniestro, pero esto nada más del póster promocional, porque no había visto ni un tráiler ni nada parecido, literalmente sin saber nada de esta serie me dieron muchas ganas de verla, llevándome la sorpresa de que esta serie es le pertenece a Warner Bros por el hecho de que esta serie está inspirada en unos comics de DC.
Más que inspiración, esta serie es una adaptación a un grupo que hacen aparición en los comics de DC, este grupo se hace llamar los eternos, siendo una familia, todos hermanos que fueron creados para cumplir con distintas labores con la humanidad.
El protagonista de esta serie es uno de estos seres tan poderosos, el rey de los sueños, Sandman o simplemente Sueño, este personaje es el hermano mayor y es que tiene la labor de dar sueños y esperanza a las personas, que mucho dirán que tener esta labor es muy ridícula para ser una entidad tan poderosa, pero solo imágenes un mundo en que las personas no tengan sueños o pesadillas, serían simplemente frascos vacíos, para esto está este personaje, para controlar un reino que está en otra dimensión, un reino donde viven todos los sueños y las pesadillas.

Esta imagen la saqué de la misma seriePara poder decir cuál es la sinopsis de la serie tengo que decir que cuando la vi sentí que había un cambio de trama a mitad de la serie, porque luego de la mitad de la serie, la trama se encamina hacia otra dirección.
La primera parte de la serie este personaje se encarga de recuperar una herramienta que le fueron robadas por la humanidad, pero esto traerá muchos problemas con algunos seres humanos y también en el infierno, especialmente, en este donde su gobernante es Lucifer.

Este personaje siendo el mismo personaje del cual se hizo anteriormente una serie, solo que para esta serie la adaptación de lucifer es muy diferente, porque el lucifer de esta serie es más siniestro, no es un detective y no siente empatía con los humanos.
Además de que no entiendo por qué todos los personajes poderosos de esta serie odian a Sueño, quien tuvo que ir al infierno a buscar una herramienta que había sido intercambiada a un demonio, así que sueño fue al infierno para enfrentar a lucifer para que uno de sus demonios le volviera la herramienta.
Luego una gran pelea un tanto rara, sueño gana, pero lucifer queda resentido y de mal humor.
Al terminar aquí Sueño se fue a buscar lo último que le faltaba, que era un rubí con gran parte de su poder, esta joya estaba en mano de un señor que estaba causando estragos en una ciudad, debido a que la joya tenía el poder de hacer todos los sueños realidad, como este señor estaba trastornado, soñó con un mundo sin mentira, lo que hacía que las personas dijeran toda la verdad y lo que ocultaban.
Esta imagen la saqué de la misma serieEste señor llegó a ser el peor enemigo que sueño llego a tener, que esto me lleva a hablar a algo que no me gusta de esta serie, que hacen ver al rey de los sueños como un ser superpoderoso, pero cualquier humano con 1% de poder es capaz de amenazarlo.
Lo bueno es que Sueño fue capaz de recuperar todas sus cosas y con esto todo su poder.
Con haber recuperado todo su poder, Sueño se encarga de varios problemas que están sucediendo en su reino, pero de esto es la segunda etapa de esta serie, de la cual no quiero hablar tanto porque es lo más relevante de toda esta serie, pero no me puedo ir sin antes hablar de los verdaderos antagonistas de esta serie.
Quiero comentar unas cosas más personales, ya comenté de lo ilógico que es el hecho de que a esta entidad tan poderosa sea tan fácil de amenazar, además de que constantemente en la serie nos muestran un personaje llamado El Corintio.
Esta imagen la saqué de la misma seriePresentado como una pesadilla que logro escapar del reino de los sueños, esta pesadilla será uno de los villanos principales de esta serie, pero no el único.
Porque el villano verdadero esta serie es uno de sus hermanos, uno de los eternos, llamado Deseo.
Esta imagen la saqué de la misma serieEs un hermano menor de Sueño y se comenta que siempre le ha tenido mayor rencor a Sueño por siempre estar por estar arriba de él, así que se encarga de entrometerse en los problemas de Sueños y empeorarlo.
Pero ya dejaré este post hasta aquí para no arruinarles tanto la primera expresión de esta serie, ya que yo en lo personal le daría un 7/10, porque todo es muy bueno, pero esa irregularidad en el guion no me terminan de convencer.
Sin más que comentar me despido por hoy, espero traer otros post a esta comunidad porque he estado viendo muchas series y películas últimamente.
