Sin más que agregar prepárense para ser un personaje de fantasía en el mundo moderno pues estamos por comenzar.

The construction of the world does not have much to offer, it has no elements that make it highlight in any way and on more than one occasion it feels like a component of the film that does not have any kind of care or affection, it does not present any kind of Detail or characteristic that highlights the tape in any way, for a film that has certain fantasy nuances is a lack that affects negatively.
La construcción de mundo no tiene mucho para ofrecer, el mismo no tiene elementos que lo hagan destacar de ninguna forma y en más de una ocasión se siente como un componente del filme que no tiene ninguna clase de cuidado ni cariño, no presenta ninguna clase de detalle ni característica que haga destacar a la cinta de ninguna forma, para una película que tiene ciertos matices de fantasía es una carencia que repercute negativamente.
The plot is quite curious, it has a somewhat strange combination between action, suspense and some slice of life, all related to the world's best known christmas character, all this amalgam of elements despite the fact that it is weird, it fits moderately well with the somewhat depressing and hopeless vision that is given to the character, it is not a genius but at least it is curious to see. La trama es bastante curiosa, la misma tiene una combinación algo extraña entre acción, suspenso y algo de slice of life, todo relacionado con el personaje de navidad más conocido del mundo, toda esta amalgama de elementos pese a que sea raro encaja medianamente bien con la visión algo deprimente y desesperanzada que se le da al personaje, no es una genialidad pero por lo menos resulta curiosa de ver. Narrativamente no hay mucho, la cinta va del punto A al punto B, no tiene mucha complejidad que se diga, sin embargo, algo interesante es la perspectiva del mundo que se proporciona, uno en el cual el símbolo de la esperanza le cuesta conseguir razones para seguir llevando felicidad a los demás y cuestionándose si realmente es algo que siga valiendo la pena, como mencione antes, no es lo más profundo del mundo aunque resulta una exploración curiosa, todo esto va sazonado con escenas de acción con bastante violencia y uno que otro momento de suspenso, esto hace que la cinta sea digerible puesto que tiene varias cosas sucediendo simultáneamente.

El personaje más interesante es Santa Claus sin lugar a dudas, este es caracterizado como un ser que ya comienza a sentir el desgaste del tiempo y empieza a cuestionarse si este mundo aún merece que alguien reparta felicidad debido a que la inocencia y la buena voluntad escasean, todo este cuestionamiento es el que le da forma al personaje y el único conflicto interesante que existe a lo largo del filme, si bien no es el más profundo del mundo termina siendo llamando la atención, sobre todo porque amerita el respaldo tanto emocional como físico de otro personaje, siendo esto último lo que hace reflejar el lado más humano del mismo y lo que da un mensaje lindo sobre el matrimonio. Los antagonistas son intrascendentes, malos y psicópatas solo porque sí, los mismos son completamente olvidables y su función es la de hacer avanzar la trama, por lo que no tienen nada que los haga relevantes, lo mismo sucede con los personajes secundarios.

Fatman forma parte de esas cintas que busca dar un giro un poco oscuro a algo tan puro y lindo como lo es la navidad, no obstante, lo curioso en este caso es que se busca dar algo de trasfondo al sentir de Santa con respecto a los cambios para mal que se están dando en la actualidad, por otro lado, está la basura que se barre bajo la alfombra: Sus antagonistas intrascendentes que solo fungen como impulsadores de trama, su construcción de mundo insípida y su trama, que pese a enfocarse en una crisis existencial, se siente vacía y como algo a lo que le faltan elementos. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 2 estrellas de 7, si bien resulta entretenida y sin lugar a dudas la recomiendo, eso no quita que a varios de sus apartados les falte haber sido más pulidos para que destacaran con luz propia.
