This is one of the few movies I have seen in the past few weeks.
Back in Action is a brand new movie and these days I wanted to see an action movie, so when I saw this on Netflix, I knew I had to see what it was about.
"Back in Action" is a movie characterized by the main movie characters.
Jamie Foxx & Cameron Diaz play the lead roles and the movie starts with a 15 years throwback.
You see from the very first minutes that it is a spy-movie full of mystery and action.
Back in Action is a fun and entertaining movie that delivers a mix of humor, action, and a few well-executed plot twists.
It is well-directed and the plot flows easily (there are a few gaps in the scenario but it did not bother me), it is engaging and the actors bring their roles to life with good performances.
The action scenes are energetic and in between you will have some smiling moments.
One of the films downside, is its almost 2 hours duration. This feels a bit stretched and I think it would be better with a duration between 1:30 minutes or so.
IMDb users have rated it a 5.9 based on 28,000 reviews, I believe it deserves a little more credit—Maybe between 6.0 to 6.1.
I would not say that this film is a must-watch, but it's a good choice for anyone looking for an easy-to-watch action movie that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
