I'm watching The Fiery Priest Season 2 right now, so far I am enjoying it. I really love its season 1 because it is packed with action and comedy, which I think is the best combination when together in one series or movie. So since learning about the production of season 2, I'm so excited and really want to watch it while still ongoing. But, seriously, watching a series when it's already completed is so much better. So I waited for it patiently. I downloaded every episode on my phone every time a new episode was released. But I couldn't watch it immediately because I got busy.
So right now I'm watching it during my free time or during meal time. I'm on episode 5 already, and so far it's so good when it comes to action. But on the comedy side, it is just too much. I love all the characters, including the new ones. But I really just don't like the over-the-top comedy that I sometimes feel was just being forced, its not funny anymore. I mean, why not let the comedy come naturally? Why do they have to let the characters act like some clown (⊙_◎)? I mean, it's really good during season 1, so I really hope they just keep it that way. I sometimes can't take the serious scenes because they are all acting like mor*ns, lol - sorry for the word.
I mean those gangs that act like babies, they are not acting like a real gangsters at all and not as tough of an opponent at all, and they are all unserious. And I feel like they are just dragging the stories out with those unnecessary comedy scenes. I mean, it's just one drug lord, and it's already at episode 5, but there are still a lot of hurdles that they can't even solve. I mean, why not change the villain every two or three episodes? No?
And yeah, it's a drug case. And they got involved because of one of the characters that got affected because of drugs. But still, I can't really stop watching it. I really like the action and some of the comedy, just some, because I feel like most of it is just being forced to make it funnier, which is really unnecessary, to be completely honest.
Anyhow, I don't have the plan to really stop watching it. Even though I can't take the forced comedy sometimes, it's still bearable. I just raise my brow most of the time and let it pass, then enjoy the next scenarios, especially the action scenes. As for the plot, it's there, but it can't really beat season 1, season 1 is still the best for me.
But my opinion on it could still change, especially since I'm still at episode 5, I'm about to start episode 6 by the way. And I can't still say which track this is going, but for now, let's enjoy the show. And for the five episodes of this series, I'll give it 7 out of 10. What's really important is I'm still enjoying it right now, and I'm still looking forward to the next episodes.
Have you already watch the season 2 of The Fiery Priest? What do you think about the whole series?
