Greetings @stortebeker, I am very grateful for your interest in the life of Bolivar, I am Venezuelan and although history has never seemed interesting to me with the passing of time I have grown fond of the history related to the Liberator.

I saw a movie, starring a great actor from hollywood and also Venezuelan called Edgar Ramirez, I liked this series and its ending was intriguing, because I had never seen him from that point of view, I felt that Bolivar was naive and even stupid.

Your review is very good, like you I always have the doubt when I see a movie story of how faithful they were to the texts, but I have never thought to read the story and watch the movie at the same time, good tool to compare and learn. It was a pleasure to read it. Thank you.
