Hi, today I'm here to tell you about a new series that I'm very excited about!!!
How I met your father, is a sequel to "How I met your mother" one of my favorite series in life, maybe initially that's why I was so excited and waiting for this series, as fans had been waiting for almost a decade.
The series is not about Tracy's (the mother in "How I Met Your Mother") experiences, but a completely new story, where the protagonist Sophie (who is played by Hilary Duff in her youth and Kim Cattrall as the narrator of the story), tells her son how she met his father.
This January 18, the long-awaited premiere of the series happened, where from the first second it touched my heart, since the intro song is the same as in the original series ❤️ besides this, the intro is with images of friends, just like in "How I met your mother" ❤️
As in the first episode of "How I met your mother", in this series one of the main characters asks his girlfriend to marry him and closing with a touch that touched our hearts and certainly stirred our memories and more, it turns out that Jesse and Sid (two of its protagonists), live in the same apartment where Ted and Marshall from "How I met your mother" lived and to top it off, they end up dedicating the chapter to Bob Saget (the voice that narrated "How I met your mother" for 9 seasons), who died on January 9th (my birthday 💔), this year.
Sophie; the main actress, is a die-hard romantic who struggles to find the love of her life, as she faithfully believes in love despite growing up in a family where there was no "and they lived happily ever after". Her group of friends is quite diverse and it feels like from the very first episode they managed to match each other and also my heart, no doubt.
Currently the series has 4 chapters, all of which I have liked, so far, between nostalgia, memories, tenderness and a couple of laughs, the series has captivated my heart, I hope it continues like this and that it does not disappoint me.
