in #hive-167922last year

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's battle mage secrets weekly challenge. I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "SUPER SNEAK" and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.

Per the ruleset of the game, All melee units gain the Sneak ability. I used my personal account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I am currently playing in the Bronze league. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly look into the Ruleset of the game.

Summoner:

I chose the OBSIDIAN summoner. It was a 19-mana game condition and I had to manage my card selection to suit that. I chose the OBSIDIAN summoner so that my monsters would have an increase in magic attack. I kept Kron the Undying after the Venari Marksrat monster so that after its death, it would increase the stats of my monster by its martyr effect. Also, I added the failed summoner in the first position to reflect the magic attack from my opponent.

1st Position:

Failed Summoner, this card has the magic reflect ability so any monster that attacks it by magic will also be inflicted with damage. It is a 2-mana monster with a speed of 2, 0 damage attack, and 4 health with 0 armor protection.

Round 1:

First of all, all monsters took their effect from the summoner by gaining extra magic attack ability. My lineup was made up of four monsters including; Failed Summoner, Fungus Fiend, Venari Marksrat, and Kron the Undying. His lineup was made up of six monsters as well including Failed Summoner monster in the first position.

In the first round, the Kron the Undying monster in my lineup attacked first and his failed summoner monster reflected two damages back to my monster, after which the Khmer Princess monster on my opponent's lineup also attacked my failed summoner monster with 2 melee damage and also received a back damage afterward. Next Queen Mycelia attacked and eliminated my Failed Summoner monster but also received back damage though. His monster in the last position, Djinn Biljka also attacked and eliminated my Venari Marksrat monster at once without it having any contribution to my lineup. At the end of the first round, two of my monsters were eliminated already.

Round 2:

In this round, similarly, the Kron the Undying monster attacked the Failed Summoner of my opponent's monsters and eliminated it, but I received a magic reflect damage as well. Khmer Princess then followed next with its magic attack after which subsequent magic damages came from all the four monsters on my opponent's lineup team.

At the end of the round, my Kron the Undying monster was also eliminated from my lineup team. My opponent was then left with five monsters whilst I was just left with one monster which couldn't do anything to help me win the battle, so I lost hope of winning right away.

Round 3:

In this round, it was a cool game for my opponent to win the battle at ease. With just one attack from the Khmer Princess monster, he eliminated my last monster, Fungus Fiend. This called for the end of the battle and my opponent emerged victorious.

It was an exciting battle although I lost it but I would love to share it because I have learned my lessons and would take note of my mistakes.

This was how my battle went and I lost it this time around. I think the selection of my team was poorly done because I needed more magic monsters since I was sending an OBDSIAN summoner.
Thank you all for your time and attention for going through my post. A link to my battle is provided here Battle Link
