X has been banned in Brazil for a few days already, and it's clear that the good old days of free speech on the internet using traditional social media are numbered. They call this war an anti-disinformation campaign, but in reality, it's the establishment disinforming the masses.

The war governments are waging against platforms like X is actually one against freedom of speech and free information on the internet. This is just getting started as we haven't seen the full scale power of AI yet when it comes to censoring information online and controlling narratives.

Access to information isn't the only thing the elites want to control; they're also after our money (actually, their money). Nowadays, most banks don't scrutinize every transaction users make daily. However, once CBDCs are in place, AI will have even more power over user funds than it should.

Project Icebreaker aims to create a SWIFT-like system that allows global banks to regulate and eventually homogenize all currencies into a one-world exchange model. For this to happen, those behind the project need to replace the current system with a CBDC-based one.

High inflation in recent times might have been designed to convince people that fixing the current system is pointless, paving the way for a "better" system that, when coupled with social credit scores like in China, grants states unlimited control over citizens.

Fortunately, thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto (Hal Finney) and others, we now have tools to bypass their plans and avoid falling into the trap they're setting. Russia is an excellent example: it has officially allowed international commerce using crypto, not just Bitcoin.

When it comes to censorship and control of information and personal funds, I find Hive to be undervalued in today's landscape, as it genuinely represents a white horse in this race. Much could be built and many issues resolved if more people knew about and used Hive. Perhaps the need will eventually push users towards this blockchain.

It would have been great if we didn't face these threats to our liberties and personal funds, but without them, we might settle for using "their money" and social platforms while compromising on various issues instead of striving for better options.

That's all from my side. I wish you all a great Monday and see you next time.

Thanks for your attention,
Adrian

This is why crypto = free speech. You dont get shut down by your bank or pressured by your gov. Power back to people :)

Few look at crypto from this perspective.
