Everyone and their mother is buzzing about Dogecoin after this mind-blowing rally, and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. DOGE has earned a reputation for its parabolic rallies every cycle, and this one looks to be no exception.
Back in 2019, I was heavily invested in DOGE but dumped it just before its ballistic rise, right when Elon Musk began talking about it. I also held a significant bag in late 2023, only to trade it for other coins this summer, thinking DOGE was no longer worth holding—a choice I now regret.
But hey, no one’s ever made a fortune from regret, so I’ll tip my hat to DOGE and move forward. I’m not buying in at the current price ($0.40) because I believe some of the coins I own could outperform DOGE once it hits around $1, and some are already showing signs of massive growth.
DOGE's parabolic rallies typically last seven to ten months, which means that if it follows past cycles, we could see it peak somewhere between April and August of 2025. As for how high it’ll go? I’m guessing $2 is possible.
I respect DOGE for its roots as a fork of a fork of a Bitcoin fork, and I respect its community. It's a coin that’s always been close to my heart, maybe because it reminds me of my early days in crypto. Seven years already...
Right now, DOGE’s meme power seems to be stealing the spotlight, but anyone familiar with altcoin cycles knows that these big DOGE pumps often set the stage for equally wild altcoin seasons. We haven’t seen a full altcoin season yet, but it’s coming now that BTC is in price discovery.
So whatever you’re holding will likely perform well over the coming months. It’s amazing how each cycle feels similar, and yet we always fall for the recycled narrative that "this time is different." Spoiler: it’s not.
We might just get a repeat of the 2017 bull market this time, unlike the half-hearted one in 2020-2021, which means financial freedom is within reach. But before you start sending screenshots of your portfolio gains to friends, remember to take profits. Otherwise, you might watch it all go down the drain.
Until then, enjoy the ride—it’s going to be a hell of a fun one.
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
