What Will You Do For Likes?

My first touch with social media was through hi5. I had my first account on hi5 sometime in 2006. I don't remember what happened with that social media platform, but I know that soon after hi5 was no longer a thing for me, I started with facebook.

Facebook was a bit different than hi5 in the sense that facebook was somehow designed to create online identities instead of just connecting people online, who most often were using usernames that were not real names.

Now almost everyone has a facebook account, and such accounts are the "digital reflection" of the ones using such networks. What we are in real life goes beyond what everyone sees us as. Some of us have quite different identities in the social media realm than theirs in real life.

I quit facebook back in the summer of 2017, and I find the current social media to be disgraceful. Back in the day, we were striving to get the attention of individuals we really liked on social media; now there are users who would do anything to attract the attention of almost anyone, no matter what.

Recently, someone posted on youtube a short clip with some chick filming herself in a store, asking an old man if he would like her to drain his nuts... I don't know how many likes that bitch got, but I bet a lot.

Young ones nowadays have almost no respect anymore towards older people, especially in the so-called civilized countries. It's all about attention and getting as much of it as possible, no matter what. People would literally kill for it...

I've seen teenagers driving a car over an old man riding his bike, I've seen some retard spraying bananas with bug poison and all sorts of shit, just for the sake of gaining attention and "fake likes". The level of idiocy we've reached lately is immense.

It is true that some so-called influencers are making shit loads of money with social media, but some are dehumanizing themselves to get there. We've reached high peaks of evolution through technology as a species, but we've also proven over the past few years how low our conscious level still is...

It is all by design, imo. The ones who have created such social media platforms knew that from the beginning. They first have to create the chaos so that they can then implement the order, the so-called new world order...

Hive is so different in that regard, but unfortunately, it is so underexposed. The main token has been once again pumped by Koreans pretty well today, but I doubt such occasional pumps and dumps will get us anywhere.

Regardless, Hive feels so different in comparison to tiktok, instagram, and any other related bull crap.

Thanks for your attention,
Adrian

We need to build new communities and enforce consequences for that kind of degenerate behavior. It ain't good for society long-term, that's for sure.
