How I Posted on Hive Every Day in March

in #hive-1679228 months ago

At the beginning of the month of March, I introduced an experiment on Hive. I was going to attempt to post at least once every day of the month, something I hadn't made a point to do since joining the platform a couple of years ago. It was easier than I expected it to be.

I named this experiment The Ides of Hive.

Let's take a look and see why it was so easy to post every day during the month of March.

Why The Ides of Hive Was So Easy

First, twice a week, I publish a newsletter and repurpose that content across several Web3 social media platforms that I frequent. Hive is one of them. One of those posts is about a Web3 topic and the other is about a Christian topic. Those two weekly posts were already in the publishing plan and carried out on routine.

Another routine post was my Monday report about my X Blue account. Each Monday, I report on my X account analytics. That's another routine post, but I only publish it to Hive.

That left me four days a week to come up with something to post. On most of those days, I published at least one micro post to either @InLeo or @ecency Waves. Plus, for every day I walked at least 5,000 steps, I published an @actifit post. That turned out to be 3-4 times a week.

I had intended to publish at least one video post during the month, but I couldn't manage it. The microblogging posts were a godsend because on days when time was of essence (about 4 days a week due to spending 6-7 hours in a grocery store selling my books), I could send a microblog post up two or three times on those days and it took only a minute to write and publish those. Microblogging on the Hive blockchain is simple, easy, and no-fuss.

I kept a log of my posts in a spreadsheet along with a record of my 7-day earnings on each post.

This is the first time I know about paragraph. Can you explain to me about paragraph based on your experience using it? Is there any cost involved in using their services?

There's no cost.

I love it. It's a cross between Patreon and Substack with Web3 capabilities. I'm happy to be using it.

Thank you for your info. Will check paragraph soon.

Good on you Allen!

Thanks!
