Posting with 100% Power Up is a Good Strategy

Hello Everyone,

I am good and I hope that you are doing well. Today in this video I have talked about one of the useful strategy on hive and its about posting with 100% power up option. This is one of the options that we can use to accumulate more hive and with this all post rewards will be paid in form of hive power.

We all want to own more hive power and its an important component in this platform. Author rewards are paid out with 50/50 model by default ion which we receive 50% as hive power and 50% in form of HBD or Hive sometimes depending upon the blockchain haircut rule. Its confirmed that we will always receive 50% author reward in form of hive power but remaining 50% can be changed by the blockchain and if we have the option to switch it with hive power.

I have been posting with this 100% power up option for last few months and its because this way I get more hive power. I have no plan to withdraw so there is no reason to keep the tokens in liquid form. Its always a good idea to keep the hive in staked form. There are two benefits why we need to keep the hive as HP. First, we can earn curation reward which is approximately 8-10% depending upon our curation method and secondly, tokens are secure as there is 13 weeks power down period involved.

If we are active on the chain and something wrong happens then also no one can withdraw the Hive power immediately. There is no such way-out and I am sure that in between we can notice the power down and can take action accordingly.

Yes I do agree with you because this time hive prices down rather than previous year . It was pumped in previous week but after that again it's price is going down. It is my expectation that it will reach below 0.30 cent. Powering up 100% from the post is a good deal that can increase your hive power. HBD is stable and there is no activity from previous couple of year. So it is a good idea to set for Hive power instead of hbd from reward.
I have also seen that mostly people use to trade HBD into Hive( mostly when it's price be down) and again convert into hbd when hive pumps.

Conversion between hbd and hive is a good idea because this way we can increase our overall holding. Making the post with hundred percent power up is an easier way to get all the rewards in form of HP that helps to grow the state faster. Today you have explained very well the strategy for hive power-up. Everyone wants that he has the most hive power and he wants to reach there quickly. But can't reach it because he doesn't have any kind of strategy but he can also understand after watching your video. Your video is very good.

I've been doing the same in the last month or so, as someone said, when HIVE is low compared to HBD this is the way to go. Plus, I want to build up my HP so my votes start to actually make a difference..

Hi Alok bhai, Thanks for mentioning my vlog. You are the first who encouraged me to do 100% powerup for my posts and it is excellent advice, sadly I am not able to apply it but for those who can apply it is really great for them and that's why I shared that information in a vlog so that not I but other can take benefit. In the end, you said that we have to keep on switching which is true. When the price will go up, we can switch to 50/50. If you can share any specific price where we should switch then it will be more helpful.

You touched this nice topic in your recent video that I liked and thought of discussing it further in my vlog. I personally prefer to do it and it makes things easy for me. I hope others also find it useful and when hive price is low then it's a must go option to get more tokens as part of the power. I knows that some of the people are using this options quite often but again it is on their preference if they want to do it manually or just want to get it done with no manual intervention. I used to follow this method in the beginning, but in the middle when I got a little knowledge about it, then I made it 50-50. However, I also believe that when the rate of hive is low, then this hundred percent method will be very beneficial. Because all the rewards will be available in HP, which will give a lot of benefit.

I usually convert my HBD to DEC or SPS by SWAP.HIVE and add it to my Splinterlands investment, as I am recently operating and interacting more on the hive blog I think this would be a good idea to increase my participation, however what is the difference in me getting a lot of Hive Power or Credit Resources, and the minimum to be able to post, comment and vote without being near zero, a good afternoon to you.
