Changpeng Zhao, CEO of cryptocurrency exchange Binance, is worth US$96.9 billion. Not only has this made him the wealthiest Crypto exchanger, but also the richest crypto entrepreneur.

Zhao has been credited with 90% of Binance based on public views, statements, and comments, adding that the net worth listed doesn’t include the amount of cryptocurrency held by the billionaire because it is unknown.

Changpeng Zhao was born in Jiangsu, China, Zhao (also known as CZ) went to McGill University in Montreal where he studied and completed a computer science degree, and his interest in cryptocurrency started, Zhao wanted to make people around him live freely and comfortable an with that he used his degree acquired to create a platform BINANCE and now the founder and CEO of Binance, in 2017, and by 2018, it was the largest cryptocurrency money exchange in the world.

Binance was founded in China but moved its servers and headquarters to Japan prior to the Chinese government’s ban on cryptocurrency trading back in September 2017.

Binance became the largest cryptocurrency exchange with a market capitalization of $1.3 billion, the title it has retained in April 2021, despite competition from Coinbase, among others platforms. Binance along with three other big exchanges raised $32 million for a stable coin project.

It was also reviewed that Zhao’s current net worth can buy 53.3 million troy ounces of gold and 1.14 billion barrels of crude oil in any part of the world. Which is simply equal to 1,434,964 times the median US household income.
This helps Zhao to claim to be the 11th richest man globally.
