The month of October nearly ended and we just had a long weekend to take a break from our school. I know that going to school is stressful because of the workload that you will encounter.
In fact, even though we are on a 1-week break, our professor still gave a lot of activities and assignments. I had no choice but to comply with the requirements, so I made a 3-day plan on how I could accomplish each task before the short break ended.
I always use sticky notes in writing important notes including my to-do list and ideas that I need to make an action. Sometimes, I also use mobile apps such as Google Keep Notes as my semi-second brain. I am still at the stage of figuring out which tool I should use as my second brain.
Furthermore, using sticky notes gives me a realistic feel and more satisfaction when I am putting a checkmark on my tasks marking that it is already done.
It is just a bit of a hassle when doing especially if you do not have your own study area (for example I am not in our home). It is one of the conflicts I am facing because I can’t do this in our dorm.
Some of my tasks are already done, but I cannot completely finish the project because I have zero knowledge about it. I need a study buddy while doing these kinds of things so I can accomplish them on time.
It is always hard to work with someone online, I always prefer a face-to-face setup because you can interact with each other on time.
So far, I still have more things to accomplish. But little by little, I am doing them slowly with an effort.
ELECTION DAY
Yesterday was the local election in the Philippines where everyone needs to cast their votes for the next barangay officials in different localities. I was a first-time voter, and I did not know that it is satisfying to know that you voted for a candidate that you think will do his duty responsibly.
Although some part of myself knows that almost all of the politicians are the same, I know that I did not vote just for clout or popularity.
Here is the mark on my finger that indicates that I already voted. At first, I was nervous because I didn’t really know what will be the setup on each precinct. But thankfully, I voted smoothly.
Overall, I had a good experience during the election day. I am also hoping that the candidates who won will do their duty responsibly. Furthermore, creating a time-management system is important if you are a student. You can always have the time if you know how to manage it correctly.
