It's been seven years!

It feels not too far away, when I signed up to the blockchain world. Not really knowing anything about it, not expecting anything about it but a few cents rewards in a blog.

Since then, it's been a very great experience - getting to know people from different corners of the world, and reading about things that I never knew existed. I became so passionate, had the energy and creative juices to spur out daily contents regardless if I had a full time job and three small kids to attend to.

So here I am after seven years, not as active as before, but still very much around. My creative juices seem to dry up some times but every now and then, I find an oasis of inspiration and start from there. Apologies if my engagement is low. I try to sneak in a few minutes for Hive daily, but life is so demanding sometimes it is only enough for me to sprinkle upvotes.

Of course, I am ever so thankful to those who still support my blog after all these years!

My Hive Goals Review

Since we're already here, and we are also about to close the first half of the year I find it fitting to have a quick check of where I am sitting in terms of my goals here on Hive for the year 2024.

It's only 10,000 Hive Power.

It's been my goal since the past eternity. Okay, maybe 3 years, now I am not sure. But this elusive HP better be attained this year. I had my plans set at the beginning of the year. I even attempted to start a 52-Weeks Savings Challenge but my consistency faded at around week 17. 😅

I started the year with 8,050.55 HP and in the span of 5 months and a week earned 841.33 HP. Not bad, but could be better.

Let me just keep this snapshot from hivestats.io for my future reference.

Now I still have about 7 months to gain the balance 1,108.12 HP to get that long over due goal. That's about 158 HP per month, 40 HP per week. Hmmmm, now, that looks achievable.🤞

I cannot commit to daily blogging, but I think daily 1 HP curation reward is already achievable. I only have to augment with monthly power ups and a few posts here and there.
