A brief look at my Rising Star Progress, and why I've been lazy

Today I noticed my Rising Star gameplay has been lagging behind. Not just that, my interactions on hive have also reduced. Though I can excuse myself for that, because I've been busy helping out with my younger sister's graduation (I'll probably post about that later). It's done now, so I'll be a lot more active.

But playing rising star is easy, and I just have to click a couple buttons every few hours or minutes depending on the mission I play. So there's no excuse for that. Well, at least I haven't missed a single day of my millionaire mission.

It's been what? One month? No, almost two months since I got my millionaire card and it's been smooth sailing since then. Though I have to admit that I've probably slacked since I got the card. Initially I used to set timers whenever I start a mission so I'd get alerted when the mission ends, but lately I've reduced doing that because at times it got annoying when my phone screamed (I have a very horrible alarm) every few hours, especially at odd moments. I was in the market one day, buying something when all of a sudden my phone started screaming, and everyone was looking around, like "what's that?" I switched it off, but that's when I stopped with the constant alarms. I think the frequency with which the alarm rang also made it less likely to wake me up.

Probably there could be a notification that tells you when a mission is complete.

Anyways, not using alarms has made me lazy in rising star as I tend to forget to play, which is the major reason I'm writing this, to get myself on track by looking at my goals and how much progress I've made in the last two months.

So, when I got my millionaire card I had

1745 fans, 7749 skills, 523 luck, and 30 income modifier

And now I have

7609 fans, 11156 skills, 1159 luck, and 82 income modifiers.

Also I was at level 50, and now I'm currently at level 61 (not too impressive, but I'll take it)

You know, I'm just checking this as I write, and I have to say I'm a bit impressed with the progress I have made so far.

These last 2 months I've bought a lot of fan cards, majorly because of the update to the millionaire mission. I currently have enough fans to play for a while without thinking about that. I also bought a few instruments so I'd be able to get more skills from music lessons as I do them once in a while.

I previously set a goal of 10k fans and 8k skills (though I swear I thought I wrote 12k skills). And I've currently beat the skills goal and set a new one at 12k. For the fans goal I'm really close to achieving that, just need to look for when fans are cheap and buy in bulk.

Also, another thing I think has made my Rising Star play drop (maybe subconsciously) is that the price of starbits has dropped. I bought the millionaire card relatively late (close to about 100 dollars) and now it's dropped by more than 50%. I'm just thinking of those who got in when it was close to 300 dollars. Some have probably gotten their investment back, but I'm sure they're some who haven't. The purpose of investing is to gain profit after all. You're warned that this is not an investment before joining, but let's be honest, the majority of the players are playing because they can get profit.

Anyways, my plan right now is just to keep building my assets , this is the dip after all, there's a huge chance starbits will pump once the bull market is back. I see myself getting to 10k fans and 12k skills before the month ends. And from then I'll set another goal. Thanks for reading.
