I'm able to see that I have trained my body to feel very active only at night, especially if I sacrifice some hours of sleep. I once used to be a morning person, but gradually, during college, I became a night person because I used to stay away until late at night and play games throughout the night. Even until a few years back, I used to play a lot of games at night.
I understand that this is not a good habit but maybe because I have practiced this for several years, I can see that I get some energy towards the end of the day and I tend to do a lot of things before going to bed. I initially thought that it was an anxiety that I couldn't be productive enough throughout the day so I was rushing things towards the end of the day. Still, later after I had some reduced level of stress, I realized that I had practiced myself this way. It is not that I have a lot of energy towards the end of the day but it is mostly because I have practiced my mind by doing a lot of things towards the end of the day.
More time in the morning
Recently when I had to get up early in the morning for something, I had a lot of time before going to the office and when I sat in front of my laptop, I was able to complete a lot of things. I was happy to accomplish so much during the morning time and this also gave me a good feeling that if I do many things in the morning I can spend more time with the family before going to bed and also sleep early.
Sleeping early is something that I wanted to do for a very long time. It is all for health reasons. They say, staying late at night is not good for my health and I have experienced that so much. I have tried hard to not be a nocturnal person but it is very hard to change my sleeping pattern. But I have noticed that if I go to bed by 10 PM, the next day I feel like I'm at the top of the world. I have so much energy to do many things and I feel very fresh.
If being a morning person combined with healthy eating habits, I think I should be able to detox and have a good routine developed. I have started to worry too much on this recently as my work-life balance is affected by so much these days. I would like to reduce my energy levels towards the end of the day and save them to use more during the morning time instead. I have also started doing a lot of gardening which is one of my hobbies to stay close to nature. So, morning can be the best time for all these things.
