When it comes to self-care, laziness is far better because having stress all the time is not good for our health but instead, laziness is acceptable because it will not affect our health. Laziness can also be considered a protective mechanism for the body to prevent from burning out or getting stressed out by so much. This helps in the overall well-being of any person. So it is okay to be lazier at times as long as we are not skipping any deadlines and our laziness is not affecting anyone else.
Helps in increasing creativity
Sometimes being over lazy can also trigger a feeling that we are not being productive and because of that we can boost our performance. Sometimes if we are cool and calm with a limited amount of stress, we would have conserved a lot of energy that can gradually be used for doing some creative things. When we are stressed out completely, it can affect our mental health and ultimately our creativity as well.
Sometimes to solve a problem we will only need a calm mind. I have personally noticed this where if I bang my head on a problem for a very long time, sometimes for hours to gether. It just needs a small break. I either take a small break or sleep through it. The next day, the solution will already be available to me. I have experienced this several times and that's when I understand the importance of a calm mind.
Having a balance is the solution
We cannot say that laziness is good for everything. Though we know that laziness is also not good and stress is also not good, it is better to have a balance between the two. Sometimes too much of laziness can also make us miss out on some opportunities. This is not how it should be treated. If we miss opportunities, we mind end up having regrets, and that again is not good. A little amount of stress is better than being in this situation.
If we plan it well, we can balance both. Time management plays a very important role in this thing. If we plan our time very well, we will be able to spend more time for ourselves and also do the required amount of work without burning out so much. If we understand the benefits of laziness, we will be able to harness the utility part alone from that and whenever we are fed with too much work, we can inject ourselves with some amount of laziness which can be good for us. We should make anything go to a chronic level. Both chronic stress and chronic laziness are not good for us.
