Morning with Prayer: Day Seventeen. Spring in the soul.
Thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for this morning!
You know I really didn't want to react to the alarm clock ringing I confess that it wasn't the desire to start my prayer early that guided me this morning but the desire to get some sleep and only the need to help the kids get ready for university made me get out of my warm bed.
And it's frosty outside today.
You know, the kind of cold that happens in early spring, it's not very cold but you can't call it hot either.
Something like that in the brain of a person who hasn't had enough sleep his consciousness is scattered and apparently for this reason when I started uploading photos for this post I accidentally clicked the "publish" button although I only wanted to save a draft.
It may not be so scary, but thank God it is not something else like by mistake people forget to turn off the gas burner, or the iron after ironing clothes and trouble happens.
God created nature and seasons which can show us an example of our behavior in this or that situation.
For example, it seems to me that a person who wants to build his thoughts into something intelligible after sleep when he still wants to sleep is like early spring when the first flowers try to make their way to the sun through the frozen ground.
Have you ever accidentally taken the wrong bus early in the morning, simply by mixing it up or not paying attention to its number?
For example, instead of bus number 33 I could take bus number 38 and go in the direction I didn’t need.
Someone might say that this is unforgivable absent-mindedness lol but perhaps God allows this in the new life so that we end up where He needs us to be and we ourselves would never end up there.
In general, it is much easier to start the day with prayer after there is a feeling that I have had enough sleep.
May the Lord bless your day regardless of whether you have had enough sleep or not!
