There's a bit of chaos right now as I try to make sense of the market. HBD and Hive have surged but one is good while the other is unwelcomed.
We like to see numbers go up but not when it's a stable coin. A stable coin should remain stable but that's not what we're seeing from HBD.
At the moment, we have Hive trading between 60 to 63 cents and that's awesome. It might in fact be pushing for $1. However, the issue is, HBD is also trading above $1 and that's a problem.
We want HBD to be a stable coin, which means it needs to always be $1. Not close to or kind of $1, it must be bang on the money. This makes it a bit complicated to keep my trading activities exclusively on Hive.
I've held on to a few hundred HBD for a while now and with the potential of bull run lurking for Hive, I'm probably not going to be buying Hive any time soon.
Interestingly, if I did buy when it was in the 30cents range, I would have doubled my money but I didn't, so that's water under the bridge. @dalz actually told me to DCA but I didn't and so, I just feel like an idiot, when I think about it.
Anyway, back to HBD. What I intend to do is temporarily convert my HBD to USDT through exchanges. When HBD gets back to the $1 mark, I'll then swap back to it and continue watching the numbers.
I'll actually end up making a tiny bit of profit in dollars. All of that is just going to go straight back into Hive purchases in the future.
In any case, the bottom line is that Hive is finally getting some fun under the sun and this surge in price has been coming for a long time. How high do you think Hive will go from here? $1, $2 higher? Please share your thoughts in the comments section
