Work feels different

I don't know how to explain it but I think I have a mental problem that doesn't allow me to stay in one job for more than a few months. Since we got to the UK, I just seem to constantly be on the lookout for something else.

I'm not necessarily always trying to change where I work because if I find a company that takes care of their staff, like where I currently work, for example, I'd be happy to stay there. However, the issue is that I get bored really quick.

For example, at my previous role as a call agent, I didn't feel like there's anything else I can do. The predictably and monotony started getting to me, which was one of the reasons behind my choice to go for a different role.

My new role involves managing a team and it's coming with a different set of challenges. I've finally put my foot through the door of management and now, I have to ensure that I excellent the role.

The challenge of taking on a new role with a different responsibility is exciting. What I like about this job is the constantly changing demands that I'll have to deal with as time goes on.

Ultimately, succeeding in my new management position will require some of the elements that helped me do well as an agent. Other than the communication element, I also have a healthy work ethic and drive that takes me where I want to be.

So, tomorrow is Monday and for some reason, I'm looking forward to it because work feels different.

It's good that you've found something in your new role that motivates you and makes the work more exciting.

Perhaps the secret to keeping you motivated is to create an environment that allows you to grow and develop continuously.

Very interesting work. From Venezuela I wish you success.
