Splinterlands New DEFI Pools!

Splinterlands just released the UI for their new defi platforms and I have to say they are down right amazing!

The possibilities to earn with Splinterlands continues to grow at a record pace and this is just one of the many releases of how to earn with Splinterlands.

What Is Splinterlands

Splinderlands is a NFT blockchain based game on the Hive Blockchain and has quickly become of the best blockchain based games. This card collecting and battling game reminds me most of games like Gods Unchained or Hearthstone.

Cards can be combined to level up and create more powerful versions. With daily PvP rewards, season ranking rewards and tournaments Splinterlands gives a lot to offer for the player.

As an investor there are also many options. Buying and delegation of cards or renting them out on the market. Buying and selling cards, staking SPS (Governance tokens) and now providing liquidity!

The New Liquidity Pools

There are currently a total of 9 liquidity pools which provide DEC and SPS rewards depending on the pools you are providing liquidity to.

DEC-BUSD via Pancake Swap

DEC-DAI via uniswap

These new liquidity pools are a great way to not only earn but also help build the entire ecosystem for Splinterlands and also the Hive blockchain. I've always said that gaming is one of the easiest ways to get other involved in blockchain and crypto and in many cases without the user even really knowing if the UI was done right. I'm happy to say that Splinterlands has been one of those such platforms that's getting it right or at least close enough to reduce friction and really build out a massive platform that brings gamers, investors, sponsors, streamers and players all together in a smart and innovative way.

Why is there a DEC/SPS and a SPS/DEC pool with totally different APRs? Is one of them supposed to be SPS/SPT?

I just found the new tab on top. I though it would be on the main page and was very confused. Just picked up 400 SPS and 7000 dec. Can't beat that for free.

Not a bad haul at all!
400SPS = $27.60 roughly
7,000DEC = $35 roughly

Yeah, I just added more so I should be getting about 110 SPS per day now and some amount of DEC I'm too lazy to calculate. The only problem is I don't want to keep LP in there once DEC hits peg and SPS still has room to run. I guess it will then be time to buy a validator instead.

Sps-dec is very good for me and I think I can grow that grow that gradually because I have access to the token lot and won’t put pressure on me.

The new integrated DEFI is another game changer for Splinterlands. This gives just more use cases for DEC and SPS. With some of these pools, in addition to the SPS and DEC rewards, you can even earn double since there are some reward pools attached on hive-engine.
