It seems like with better regulation and more clarity that a lot are speculating what will be the next crypto ETF. While we got a huge boost to Bitcoin when it was talked about and wasn't even released yet we got a major bull run for the asset up to 70k again.
However Ethereum was soon released right behind it (well a few months) and that asset did nothing but sink for months and then just recently come back a little.
This begs the question and something to think about if a ETF or even a mention of a ETF listing for a crypto asset really means that much anymore.
The Benefits To Crypto From ETFs
Now ETFs really aren't all that exciting on their own. For most people they think if they want crypto they will just jump on Coinbase or any number of other front ends now or even a DEX.
But ETFs do open up unique people and unique capital that you wouldn't have otherwise. This is primarily accredited investors but also it allows others to tap into it via things like 401k's and other investment accounts that wouldn't normally be able to otherwise. This opens up trillions of dollars in market cap and new capital for the crypto spots.
So what tokens, crypto or blockchains might we see next?
SEC and Government Reshape
It's going to take some time but our good old "friend" Gary is finally out of here. However that doesn't change or stop the IRS who just attacked the crypto markets. This should open up the crypto markets on many fronts.
The first being that approvals for ETFs should be much faster and the guidelines to get them added shouldn't be all that hard either thus speeding up the process.
Second would be this opens things up to multiple if not hundreds of blockchains and cryptos that could be ETFs at some point.
But what ETFs might be next on the list?
One of the key ones seems to be SOL or at least that's what many people are saying. There's also speculation flying around that a SOL (Solana) ETF could 9x the tokens value pushing it to around $1,500 - $1,800. Now to be honest I never believe these things and often cut it in half if not more. But still those are respectable gains.
XRP is another top pick being that they won their lawsuit and all that good stuff. But to be fair at least for me personally I've stayed away from XRP and all that drama and I think most others would do the same.
Hedera (HBAR) This one actully has me the most interested. A part of me feels like this token is a sleeping giant. At just $0.29 each it's speculated that this token could be the next to move towards $50+ nearing $100 which would put it in line to the likes of getting in early on Ethereum.
