Each week I do my best to touch base on some of the major events happening on the hive blockchain. While I of course won't know everything and will miss some things I encourage if you are the head of a project with something newsworthy or a community member with some news drop it down in the comments so I'm aware of it to follow it more closely and to make others aware of it as well thank you!

First let's start with price action of hive as that's always what many including myself end up caring about at the end of the day.

Price action was a little wild this week. However the price seems to have slowly settled back down to it's $0.21 point which is a slow steady increase for the week from the roughly $0.19 it was at. This now shows us a 2 week upward progression but there's still plenty of room to still expand.

The massive bump in price to nearly $0.24 seems to be the result of a possible new listing or exchange that added Hive.

As far as projects the main one I'm involved with as well would be Splinterlands While there's not too much New new about it what is new is the massive amount of value that is starting to be injected back into it. For example in the last month SPS values have increased by roughly 30% and my NFT card assets have also seen a increase of around 15%. This is a welcomed change compared to the drastic value decreases that have been happening. For example my NFT collection a year ago was around $70,000 - $90,000 It's now just $16,000. There's still much room for growth again to happen but this could make it a good possible bottom entry point for people.

Outside of that I haven't spotted anything too news worthy. Most projects we are currently waiting for are in some type of Alpha/Beta testing and are looking at end of year to start of the new year for release dates. Most have been pushed back by around 6 months if not more. However I'm excited for when those projects finally open their doors and do some serious marketing from the current hive base. It should bring in a lot of new faces to the space and of course more blockchain usage!

Goals

$HIVE

Goal: 250,000 Current: 118,059

Strong fundamentals for sure on the increase of hive. While less than the pervious week it's still a healthy increase of 44.4 hive powered up into the account per day on average. Putting me a little below my primarily goal which is currently 100 hive per day. But really the goal of mine should be an average of 400 hive per day if I ever want to hit that 250,000 goal.

For me hive is just always going to be a constant stacking. I honestly don't see myself ever powering down unless of course I want to take some profits after 8 long years of being with the blockchain. But those would be minimal power downs.

HBD

HBD is still going strong. Things are looking healthy for it. The real question will be if Hive goes back to a $1 or more and stays there for say a month or longer or for all time will HBD have as high of a APR? My thinking would be no as the HBD payouts on reward posts would be rather high at that point.

I remember back to the last bull run where I was making 30+ per hive post of HBD and that was only because the value of hive was so high at the time.

Right now the goal for this if I had one would be 5,000 HBD in order for the interest to pay for the hive node I'll be starting here shortly.

$LEO

Goal: 150,000 Current: 146,866

Another healthy amount of LEO powered up and also much closer towards the goal. Week over week we powered up another 406 LEO which is higher than last week and comes out to be 58 LEO powered up per day.

In order to hit this goal by end of year I would need just 33.69 LEO powered up per day. Being that we are nearly double that I suspect I should be able to finally close out this goal by mid/end October.

Splinterlands

Stacking here has slowed a little bit. However I'm currently working on making moves that should greatly boost this again as we move into October. The goal is to have 1 million SPS powered up by end of the year which is a huge. This plan of action will also help me push forward in other aspects such as primarily DeFi again with Leo and hive.
