Today's publication is based/focused to the business minds based in Nigeria (A country)

Is that skill saturated because last I checked No skill is saturated in Nigeria as of today. Not even one. Most times, when people say the niche is saturated, they mean the skill is very popular; many people offer the same skill, making it difficult for others to succeed. That's what they mean. They know many people with the skill. When they look left and right, they find someone who's a "graphic designer, a copywriter, affiliate marketer, content writer, social media manager," and the list continues. But that's not what saturation means in terms of skill. Hey, Do not look that up in the dictionary, for I'm not defining from the dictionary. Do you know what they say about denotative, connotative, and figurative means? Meanwhile, I think those ideas are overrated, but for sanity, I won't attempt to quiver your brain about them. Back to base.

That's not what saturation means in terms of skill. I think the original intent of the coiner of that word means that many heavyweight, skillful people are in that industry. A saturated skill means that people control a huge percentage of the market, leaving others to feed on the crumbs of their leftovers. It's like in the Search Engines market. Google controls about 97% of the market shares, leaving the remaining 3% for other Search Engines like Bing, DuckDuck, Yahoo, etc., to feed on. That's what saturation means. Imagine how much skill or money will be expended on marketing to oust Google's dominance in the Search Engine market.

When I see people talking about learning skills or even supposed Guruuuuuuus talking about how saturated the skill market is, what they actually mean is that many people have or are learning the said skill, not that there are dominant actors in that space. Usually, I ask, if the skill is saturated, can you mention ten people you know making N10,000,000 monthly from the skill? Do you know ten people in that niche making up to N10,000,000 monthly? Oh, Too big. N5,000,000. Do you know up to ten people with the skill making that amount from the skill every month? Most likely, you'll say no. So, why do they say it's saturated? They know many average girls and boys who say they are experts, struggling to make N200,000 monthly.

They simply know a lot of people who learned the skill, whether or not they are making money from it. Or did you say you know ten people that have the skill and are making up to N10,000,000 monthly? That, in itself, doesn't mean that the market is saturated. Ask yourself, how much is the skill value, and how big is the market? Let's use Nigeria as a case study. Statistics show that Nigeria's population is about 200 million people. Out of that 200 million people, imagine saying the market is saturated because there are 10 people offering their skills to 30,000,000 of that population. Does it make sense to you now? That a market is saturated should be defined based on dominance and not the number of people doing the same thing.
