One Year Opportunity

I've finally got the yearly Leo membership!!

Saving up for the yearly Leo membership was ROUGH lol. There were so many opportunities where I wanted to just sell it all and buy a bunch of hive! There are a bunch of price fluctuations that have gone on recently, with us getting down into the low 40's for price and I had a bunch of HBD waiting there. I would have loved to sell it and get a bunch of Hive but NO I was determined to get the Leo membership... and wait was indeed what I was able to pull off!

I think that's one of the reasons that I really liked the option they have now where they give you a yearly membership instead of monthly. I am always a pain about subscription things, trying to remember to pay the damn things on time and all that. I try to pay lump sum for things as regularly as I can because that's the better option for me in a lot of ways. Less thinking that's for sure!

So when I wanted to go and renew my Leo membership, saving up the 10 HBD, I was really excited to see that it was a new option for yearly, and it saved you a little bit of HBD in the long-run if you did it that way. I hopped on that shit real quick, except that I had to save all of my HBD of course.

The saving it for a month was rough for me. I know that it seems like a pretty arrogant or shitty thing to say, where I am able to earn 100 HBD in a month from posting and commenting. Many people don't earn that in a few months, but I am very fortunate in that my content gets decent rewards for whatever reason. This makes it easier to grow my account for sure, and I think one of the reasons is that I am very consistent with my posting daily, roughly at the same time with some minor blips in the process.

With the Leo premium now, I am able to generate the Leo related content, even though I know they have broadened out to normal stuff these days, but I still like to save my finance related thoughts and ideas for them instead of others. This works out because it varies up the content that I enjoy putting out. I certainly like my photography posts or my philosophy type things but it can get a little boring to write about the same topics all the time. Switching it up is the spice of life baby! Lol.

I think supporting the Leo team and the Leo ecosystem overall with a subscription is a good thing to do. It generates dividends in the long-run for not only myself but for the platform overall. The genius thing about the membership is that it uses half of the money to buy Leo off the market, so that it increases the price internally and makes it so that it doesn't bottom out the way Splinterlands assets have (sorry SL team, but it's true!)

What about you, are you aiming to get the year-long subscription to Leo now that it's an offer? Let me know in the comments!
