We see a lot of people talk about creating wealth, but this wealth is not substantial. Simply put, it will not make you rich. Most people actually go by traditional methods like getting a job, saving in FD, getting an emergency fund, and then investing in equity. Now, equity investment will help them retire early if they are saving a high percentage, but it will not make them rich.

Most of the Richie rich people actually take calculated risks and try to create business, invest in real estate or leverage the debt strategically. And this is again not to retire or get some wealth, they do it to generate that real wealth which makes them filthy rich. They think beyond and challenge themselves which actually sets them apart. For example, if someone would have taken the risk to invest in Bitcoin when it was dirt cheap if someone would have started a new and modern business, they usually become rich in the long run.
Like in 2020, when the market was going down everyone was afraid to invest and whoever had invested at that time, would have made 5X their initial value. When we have the job, we usually get scared because what if we don't have the job tomorrow? But people who have the rich mindset don't think about the everyday money. They are more focused on future money. All these startups which are starting are by the people who actually have that mindset because they know that if it works then it will make them really rich.
But in India, mostly people are studying for a job, and doing something on their own is not well received. So if you get a chance even if in a side business, do it because that can give you freedom in the future.
