Hello, hives family, I would like to share what I have learned about hackers intruding on your bank card or PIN. There are things you should never do when you are about to create a pin to your card or a mobile app, I will mention some of those things here just for you to learn better and be carried along with what is happening around us.

1. Never choose to write your date of birth as your PIN for example you write a PIN of your date of birth as 1975, the reason why it is not good is just because hackers can easily guess it.
   It is better to use another means of creating a PIN, you can choose a number that you will never forget like 0472, etc.
2. Never write your PIN down on a pepper or type it on your phone it is hazardous. The paper you write it on might fly around for people to see. Hackers may even see the book where you are keeping it, also keeping it on your phone is out of it because your phone can get lost or stolen by hackers, and with that, they will have access to your phone and check every app on your phone.
   A scenario happened in my office recently that is why I am even writing this post so that everybody will learn.
   A lady is working as one of our customer center agents, she always gets to work so early in the morning. One day I told her that she should not be leaving her house so early like the way she does, I was just advising her because I knew that Lagos was very dangerous to work around at that time, she told me that there was no problem that she will adjust her time of leaving the house at a better time, it was as if I know that something will happen to her, just last week she left her house to office at around 5:30 am, the bus she boarded was a one chance bus to lekki, we call those harmed rubbers that use vehicle to rub, one chance in Lagos. She was asked to bring her phone, laptop, and her purse. They now asked her to unlock her phone, she did not even tell them the PIN to her ATM card before they started debiting her, this happened just because she put her PIN on her WhatsApp, so never put your PIN on your phone or else you will experience what this lady in my office experienced.
3. Mostly use the ATM at a bank. Using an ATM at a bank is better because digital cameras will monitor transactions. If you are using public places like airports, Hotel areas in short any public place like POS guys they are very dangerous, I am not saying we can not use them but if at all you will use them make sure it is someone you can trust and you know very well incase if anything happen.
