With the international break there were no matches last week to really play competitive with the collection that I have. I also did not buy or sell any new players in the last 11 days. Week 15 in the Belgian League will be played this weekend and here are the line-ups that I submitted...
Rare lineups
As always, I put what I believe is the strongest lineup in the lowest league as that is how you get the best rewards strangely enough. Westerlo plays at home against Kortrijk which made me put 3 Westerlo Players (Bayram (c) who systematically gets high scores even when not scoring or keeping a clean sheet), Frigan who should be the main striker and Reynolds who tends to be a very offensive defender. Delanghe Plays away against Standard who are not free scoring and Bonsu Haah has been having solid performances as a starter for Genk.
In the other Line-ups it's no longer sure that Verschaeren is a Starter for Anderlecht and they also play against AA Gent.
For my challengers, I put De Wolf as my best goalkeeper at home against Beerschot, Watanabe has been having good scores again while Heynen also tends to do well on average which I put as captain at home against Charleroi. Yow should be a starting winger who is listed as a striker for Westerlo and Bataille should be fully back in Antwerp who play at home against a beatable opponent. I also have 1 full Kortrijk Stack team in Rare.
I also have 1 extra team in the special competition as I now own 7 Rare goalkeepers who potentially could play even though it shows Morris is highly uncertain. He is one of the players that I should really look to sell and take some profit on. He's playing for Union both in the league and un Europe while he is also an international for Luxemburg. The Special competitions pretty much are glorified practice matches to level up players as the scores that you need in them to be competitive are high especially with leftover players.
Limited Lineups
The way to play sorare with the highest chance of winning is to play a stack of 1 team all with leveled up players and a good collection bonus % and a match where they are able to shine with a collective good performance. Antwerp surely has that potential the coming weekend at home against Dender. So I see this one having a shot even though there certainly is a better combination of players possible. I however own these ones for now.
The other 2 teams submitted also all show players that have 90% of starting
In the Under 23 limited I don't have much confidence and I also only have 2 goalkeepers that will play
Season 2024-2025 Owned Collection Value
It's fairly easy to track your personal earnings on the Sobase.Football website. We seem to be at a point again where the rewards don't fully compensate for the drop in card values over time as more get printed and dumped on the market.
I am no longer putting outside funds into Sorare at this point and will track my total account value from here on out weekly.

From the looks of it, it will be hard to outearn the decrease in card values as more and more are being put up for sale on the market.
Conclusion
I'm still having a ton of fun with Sorare and I'm highly looking forward to the coming weekend. If I win something or manage to break even I'm already a happy player. Given the continued inflation, this is a game and not an investment.
